Chamber Pop Cellist

Diana performs a mix of classical, pop and original cello music. She crafts instrumental arrangements of artists such as The Beatles, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Kacey Musgraves and Elliot Smith. Her original songs feature cello as well as vocals, creating a lush and calming environment.

Diana Burgess is a cellist, educator and composer based in Austin, TX. Diana creates lush, haunting songs featuring layered vocals, cellos, tenor guitars and more. She released her debut album You Run in 2020, and is currently working on an instrumental album inspired by North American wildlife. Since 2010 Diana has been a member of Austin orchestral pop band Mother Falcon, and she regularly performs with local singer-songwriter Curtis McMurtry.
