I have been playing a one-man acoustic show since 2001. I play a wide variety of music, covering most genres. The songs range anywhere from Johnny Cash to Lady Gaga. I have around 200 songs in my repertoire, and I hand out lists for people to give their requests, or I can pick the songs I think will go over well depending on the audience. Usually a little of both winds up being the case. I've played countless shows in bars, taverns, private parties, and celebrations. I usually play 4 hour shows, but that can be adjusted to accommodate the client.
He showed up on time and the performance was exactly what we are looking for here at the club. His voice and guitar skills were amazing!!
Chris did a great job. Lots of fun with a great playlist.
Response from Chris Jones:
Thank you Jake! I really had a lot of fun playing your party. Everyone was exceptionally courteous and kind. Great times had!
Chris Jones never disappoints! My husband and I have been fans of Chris since 2007 and we try to attend as many shows/performances as we can. From fans to friends. We always a fun time with great music. Love you Chris Jones!!
Chris was very good. I missed judged him. I took what I thought was a chance and he did great. A lot people was asking who’s the singer where I found him. Look at his play list great choice of music. He’s very interested in volumes making sure not to loud or to quiet. That’s bigger then you think. Over all outstanding job. Will see you again Chris.
Chris did a wonderful job playing at our lounge for Happy Hour. He is very friendly, easy to talk to and a wonderful singer! We enjoyed his music and can't wait to have him back again!
Excellent performance. Everyone was very pleased!!!
He was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed his performance
Chris was a fantastic addition to our party! He was fun, professional, and a talented musician with a beautiful voice. He has an extensive play list that easily entertained a diverse crowd. He also took the time to learn a song that was special to the couple we were celebrating. He played well after his contracted time. I would highly recommend him to any friend or family. We will definitely hire him for future functions!
Chris came and sang for an hour at a birthday party that I recently held for my husband. He was very professional arriving on time, setting up quickly, and performing longer than the agreed upon time. He has a wonderful voice with over 250 songs to choose from. It was a perfect addition to the part,y and the guests and my husband enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend him.
Chris was great and a very talented musician. Will definitely be asking back again soon.

Chris Jones believes that it is the audience who should be in the driver’s seat at one of his shows. He puts out several playlist, containing around 200 songs for the audience to have a choice in his song selection. His cover songs range anywhere from The Drifters, to Kings of Leon, from Johnny Cash, to Lady GaGa. Chris feels that those who attend his show, deserve to have a say in what they hear.
The Space that Chris requires to set up is very minimal. He doesn’t need any more room than that of a karaoke show and sometimes even less. Chris provides all his own equipment including P.A. system. The only thing Chris needs is a chair, and a 120v power outlet, which is the same outlet you plug a toaster into.
The duration of Chris’ show depends on the needs of the client. He plays anything from one song to walk a beautiful bride down the aisle, to an entire night of crowd pleasing, sing-a-long music. On a typical four hour night, Chris will play hour long sets with a minimal break in between; however the duration of Chris’ sets can be adjusted to the needs of the client.
Breaking the conventional rock band format, Chris prefers the intimate settings of his one-man acoustic shows. With a sound and personality that is unmistakably his own, Chris creates camaraderie with his audience, inviting them back for more. With a distinctive acoustic rock sound, Chris performs both his own songs and a variety of uniquely arranged cover songs.
Originally from Tarkio, MO Chris developed a love of music early in life. Listening to his two older brothers play guitar created a desire to play that would not be satisfied by listening alone. At the age of sixteen Chris picked up a guitar, and can’t seem to put it down. In 1992 Chris attended a one-man acoustic show that inspired him to create his own and has largely shaped the direction of his music since.
In September of 2001 Chris was afforded the opportunity to travel to California to perform rhythm acoustic guitar and backup vocals for Brian Bateman’s debut CD, White Lie, (engineered by Guy Charbonneau for Le Mobile remote recording studios).
Chris’ debut CD, Paradise, was released in the spring of 2002 to much acclaim. Two years later in the spring of 2004, with a little help from some friends, Chris released his sophomoric efforts. A comedy CD entitled The Nebraska City Trailer Park Chronicles. Chris has since relocated to Omaha, NE where he continues to perform his one-man acoustic shows.
