Phil Barber has actively participated in producing and managing corporate events for over 25 years. Laying the groundwork for his life's work, Barber managed and booked engagements for high school bands when he was just 14 years old. His childhood hobby became his passion at the University of Tennessee where, as a member of the university's Campus Entertainment Board, he produced major concerts on campus.

In 2001 Barber produced The Presidential Trust Reception & Dinner at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. for the inauguration of the 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush. Trent Lott, Senate Majority Leader hosted the event. The Spinners were the featured entertainment.
COMEDY TECHNICAL RIDER
SOUND SYSTEM:
A professional sound system to adequately cover the room and provide acceptable volume for the number of people attending the function. A CD player into the sound system is also needed.
Technician/s are also required to set-up system and should be available to assist with sound check prior to doors opening and during performance.
Note: House systems with ceiling speakers are not acceptable.
Also required is a microphone stand with round base (no tripod) and clip with a professional grade microphone. (Shure SM-58, etc.)
Artist requires a minimum 30 minute sound check at approximately 4:00pm.
LIGHTING:
Stage should have general wash of lighting.
We highly recommend one (1) follow spot with operator and a general wash of lighting consisting of two rear trees with four par 64 type lights (two blue and two magenta) will suffice.
These should be left on through the performance.
Room lights should be dimmed during Artist’s performance.
STAGING:
A stage 12 ft. wide and 8ft. deep is adequate. A black backdrop is highly recommended. If draperies are not possible, the stage should be placed against a plain wall whenever possible.
Artist needs to be the total center of attention, the focal point of the room.
Audience needs to have totally unobstructed view of Artist
ComediansUSA books impersonators for meet and greets based on an hourly basis. Stand up comedians average set length is 45-60 minutes.
