Dana arrived at our venue on time. He only took a short time to set up and then the party was on! Dana played a wide range of music on the saxophone and sang a few tunes. We danced and sang along to the familiar tunes for a couple of hours. He was personable and was a delight to have at our small family gathering. I highly recommend him to anyone who likes live music. We will definitely ask him back when we return to the area again. Thank Dana! You Rock!

Dana Garrett on sax is the consummate professional. Whether touting upbeat tunes of rock or easing out those smoky, sexy blues numbers, he does it all and he does it well! Besides exceptional saxophone, Dana has his own sound and is equally adept at brandishing a microphone.
Dana Garrett’s solo act is available for your next event, whether a birthday party, wedding, cocktail hour, dinner party, wine tasting, corporate event, country club awards, dance off, or whatever it may be. Dana will design a personal set list for any occasion, providing your requested music genres, styles, atmosphere and special requested songs. With his versatile repertoire, ranging from Jazz genres including; standards, swing, big band, smooth, bebop, funk, blues and an array of rock styles ranging from rock-n-roll, to rockin blues, funk, soul, classic, even reggae, country and rockabilly.
Dana is the saxophonist, and lead and harmony vocals in Lil' Elmo and The Cosmos, a rock-n-roll review show band, playing music from the 50's and 60's, doo wop to easy rider. His extensive band history includes, Rockin' Roulettes, Fabulous Spud Brothers, The Heroes, Jon Washington's Sounds of The Fortunes and Dana's own bands, Blue Light Boogie and the Kid Tater Band, to list a few. Dana also ran a successful jam session geared towards horn players, Taters Invaders. Dana's studio work has accompanied such notables as: Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Solomon Burke, Earl Thomas, and Skid Roper and The Whirlin Spurs, and The Beat Farmers. He's toured the U.S. to great reviews for over 2 decades.
