Hello, I am Davy the Bagpiper. I have been a performer of the Great Highland Bagpipers since 2011 and have since been a VERY dedicated performer. I have been a member of several different groups. This has allowed me the unique ability to grow as a performer and have since played at everything from funerals to weddings, parties, parades, Irish wakes, memorials, graduations, retirements, pub crawls, bar entertainment and everything in between.
I am a firefighter and I have had the honor in performing at multiple fire/police/military functions. I love to share my talents to honor those that served and gave their lives in the ultimate sacrifice of service to their communities.
I have also been exclusively been hired by venues entertainment for hours at a time for "rowdier" crowds. I am still young and energetic and have a good understanding of timing and audience needs. I play guitar as well and incorporate singing Irish jodies as part of my set. As wonderful as the bagpipes are, when 2 hours need to be filled at a bar, the crowd needs a change in tempo from time to time.
Playing the pipes is a passion of mine and it can be seen in the way that I play. Whether it be a regal march down the aisle, a lively stepped dance during a jig, or a surprise at a party, you will not find another piper like me, I promise you that.
