DeCory

You can expect an outstanding performance. DeCory is an electrifying, gifted performer. Not only is he a dynamic vocalist, he's a sensational dancer as well. His vocals are usually unexpected at first glance due to his slender figure. But, he makes up for that with his energizing dance. His shows are top rated and will fit anyone looking for musical entertainment. He covers R&B classics from grandma's favorites (Sam Cooke, Etta James, Jackie Wilson) to modern day pop music (Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, James bay, Sam Smith) which associates with kids of today's era. Regardless of the generation, the response is always the same - utter amazement.

DeCory is an electrifying, high-energy, POP/R&B artist, coupled with an old soul.  He decided early on that he wanted to be an entertainer. It all started at the tender age of 4-years old - the same year he sang his first solo in church. All it took was one look at Michael Jackson’s, Billie Jean video and his evenings, weekends and summers were forever changed.

By the age of six, he would also try his hand at acting. He was casted in a television pilot - slated for primetime tv - on a newly developed television network, but the network never launched. DeCory took the knowledge gained from that experience and used it for his quest to perfect his musical prowess.  After years of sharpening his vocal and dance skills, this led to DeCory achieving Spring Branch’s musical ambassador role, where he performed to his first full stadium audience (5000 people) at the ripe age of 11 years old. From that day forward, DeCory has polished his performance skills and developed as a sensational performance artist with regular gigs. On any given day you can find DeCory performing at various venues throughout the Texas and Louisiana areas, dazzling audiences along the way.

Recently, he performed at the world famous Apollo theater in New York City, and wouldn't you know it: he brought the house down with a sensational performance, which sent the Apollo into an overwhelming ovation of cheers.  As Steve Harvey (Host at Apollo theater) enthusiastically told the Apollo's audience, "now that's how you do it when you come the Apollo,” referencing DeCory’s performance. Additionally, DeCory has expanded his reach to the international level. His social media fan base has sweltered to more than 2 million YouTube views, connecting him with the world. His Billie Jean performance alone has grown to epic proportions.

Although small in statue, this little energetic fireball has a very big voice with a very giving spirit. In addition to serving as youth musical ambassador for Spring Branch, DeCory is very busy in the community. As part of an outreach initiative, he performs at many community level events as his way of giving back to the community. He's been awarded the "I AM Spring Branch" award ((phone number hidden)7) for exemplifying Every Child, Collective Greatness, Collaborative Spirit, Limitless Curiosity and Moral Compass.  DeCory wants to share his gift of song with the world. He wants to inspire others to find their own inner greatness to reach their own dreams and goals in life.

A standard wireless mic for performers (with stand), speakers, monitors, mixing board and computer (to run tracks). A stage is require for a full fledged performance and dance. For small venues of 150 people or less, we have the equipment (less the stage) to accommodate an event of this magnitude. We'd need electrical outlets for such a venue.
