Comedian Derrick Hurley started his comedy career in Chicago 2017. Gracing stages such as Riddles, Laugh Factory, the Comedy Shrine and Zanies with his quit hitter joke style, crowd work and relatable stories. He gained attention amongst the comedy scene in Chicago before Moving to Atlanta in 2019 to further his journey. He’s been at Clubs like Uptown Comedy Club, Atlanta Comedy Theatre and Punchline Comedy Club as a host, feature and headliner. In April 2022 he headlined and sold out 2 shows at Red Room Comedy Club in Chicago, IL for his comedy special titled “Jokes for da LoLo”. Derrick also branched out into traveling and performing in other states. Featuring at Hyenas Comedy Club in Texas. Headlining multiple times in Alabama at the Stage Comedy club and Happy Hour Comedy Club. He’s headlined in Gary Indiana , South Carolina and North Carolina as well. He is also a winner of Chocolate Sundaes Virtual show, and a current participant in Kenan Thompsons comedy showcase. Derrick is a witty comedian who is quick on his toes and great at improv and crowd work. He has a comedy album released in 2020 titled “heyiaintnobody” as well as comedy singles “heavy” and “new years and STDs”. He’s also featured on the comedy/hip hop album titled Draft Night.
