This band cancelled and never returned their deposit. Never returned calls or emails. Our non profit took them to small claims court and won judgement, (the never showed up at court) They still haven't paid the judgement. It wasn't a large amount, why it wasn't returned and communication avoided is beyond understanding.
I loved working with Ron, and Lizzie has an incredible voice! The band was very professional, and gave a lovely performance!

I hired Different Hats Promotion for The Ohio Valley Music Guild non-profit event featuring Swing Band Music. Everyone in attendance was ultimately entertained by their music. And Elizabeth did have a voice that mesmerized the heart and soul! When requests were made, they were fulfilled promptly. Even though the weather that evening was not accommodating, Ron (Different Hats) made sure he arrived to our event to start at the precise starting time. I know the band members were probably very hungry not to mention frustrated, due the lengthy and difficult driving conditions, but managed to perform as if
not a problem existed. And our Event was a Success!!! Thank you Ron, Lizzie and the rest of the band

Different Hats 11 piece orchestra played at our daughters wedding reception last night. It was amazing! The orchestra played with Liz's fabulous vocals for the first 4 hours then Rex DJ'd for the final two hours. They did everything we asked and more. They made the evening fun and lively for our guests of all ages. They are all very talented and professional. We would definitely hire them again. Our guests were so impressed with the live music and no one wanted the night to end....including the bride and groom. Thanks for a memorable night of beautiful music and fun! We love you guys!

Different Hats did an amazing job at our wedding reception. Between their live performances and DJ services, they really set the tone for the event and our guests had a blast. Our wedding was at Cincinnati Music Hall and their live music fit the venue perfectly. Then when we all were ready to let loose later into the evening their DJ-ing was really fun. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a flexible, professional and fun group.

We had a great time at the Reception. It is always wonderful to share our talents at an event where everyone the bridal couple through to the venue staff are all dedicated to having a fun and dignified evening.
We hired Different Hats for our wedding and couldn't have been happier! We had a Midnight In Paris/1920's theme and they took our special requests to play the Midnight In Paris movie soundtrack, as well as other songs from the era. (They even sang a few in French!) Later in the night the band switched to DJ music to keep the dancing and fun going. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great band for their event. Professional, Fun, and EXTREMELY Talented!

We had a wonderful time at the transportation center. It was a treat to perform our French repertoire. The ambiance and table settings all lent themselves to a great evening.
My wife and I got married this past July and we hired the Different Hats band to perform. After viewing their videos online and talking with Ron on the phone we knew they were the band for us. There performance (which came in two parts) was absolutely phenomenal. The wedding was at a barn and when the guests arrived they started playing setting the tone and mood for the rest of the day. They performed brilliantly throughout the night and worked with us when it came to our needs, budgets and music. Our wedding would not have been the same without them! If you choose to go with someone it will be a big mistake! Can't thank them enough.
Wow! Liz has an incredible voice, and is even better live than on the samples- if that is possible! Every note she sang was perfect. The guests loved her; she is adorable and has wonderful stage presence. Ron's playing was fabulous. He worked with us before the event to select the perfect music, even when we kept making last minute changes. He and his wife (who manages the details while he plays) made the evening flow so well. During one of the breaks, we asked her to do a dance lesson for the guests, and it was a huge success! They are such nice people, so accommodating and professional. They really cared about making our evening perfect. I highly recommend them!
Ron host a jazz nite at our store every 3rd Friday of the month, sit in or just enjoy the music. He also teaches at our store and host other musical labs. . He is a big asset to our teaching staff. Also willing to follow thru with ideas for giving music education. Beginer to pro. "the BRD House Music and Arts Co."

The band played for our wedding reception and it could not have been more wonderful!!! EVERYONE from the youngest to the oldest in attendance enjoyed dancing, swaying, singing or just moving to the music. I would highly, and without reservation, recommend this group.
