My college nursing program used DJ Ray Ray for a welcome luncheon for new students. We had about 175 students and staff present and he was able to play music everyone enjoyed. Best part...he was so easy to book and easy to communicate with due to his fast responses. Our original DJ didn’t work out last minute so a couple nights before this event, we were worried we’d have to go without. He was able to commit last minute and had all the equipment we needed. My experience was just okay with DJ Ray Ray. The first faux pas was he told me he would be there to set up 2 hours before the event which would have been 5 pm and when I called him he said he wasn't planning on showing up until 6:30. He argued with me about the contract starting at 8 p.m. And I double checked and indeed it started at 7 pm so he should have been there by 5 or 5:30 at the latest. When I called him he did finally get there by around 6 pm about a half hour before people started showing up and managed to get set up in time so that was a savior. He promised me that he would get dressed up as this was a 70s theme party and neither him or his partner were dressed in 70s attire. He also told me that he would bring a disco ball and that didn't happen either. Even though I had a lighting company come and set up with another disco ball I was hoping he would bring his to shoot across the other side but honestly if he did bring it I didn't see it because I don't think they would have had time to set it up anyway. The last thing that I had an issue with was that he said he would MC and he did not do anything to MC. He did not make any announcements or try to get people on the dance floor or anything like that. The music they were playing was within the genre I requested which was great however, I had requested him to specifically play Phantom of the Paradise which he did not. Overall the music was good they ended up getting there in time thank goodness but it caused a giant stress on me when I called and he hadn't even left his house which was an hour away and was arguing with me about the time. The event turned out okay but I would not hire him again.
I have been doing corporate events for over 25 years and have hired many DJs over the years. Prior to the event, Ray and I had a long discussion on the phone and I thought he understood what I wanted, but what he delivered was not what we discussed. Even after numerous attempts during the event to get him to play a different type of genre, he continued to play club techno contemporary music, which was not what I asked for and was not appropriate for that type of event or character of the guests. I even asked him to play specific songs during the party, yet he again refused and argued with me about my selections. He was rude to several of my guests that requested songs and was pompous with me when I approached him with my dissatisfaction. I hired him to play for a certain amount of hours and he unilaterally went over time before I realized it and then demanded an overcharge fee. I would definitely not hire him again. He had a negative impact on my event.

DJ Ray Ray and Manuel were great from the start. They make a great DJ /Emcee team. Getting two for the price of one is kinda a steal.
We used them for our wedding and they were both available to meet with me multiple times to make sure we felt great with how things were going to go. In fact DJ Ray Ray helped us come up with a great April fools joke (our wedding was April 1st) and it went so great! We couldn't have pulled it off without them. Of course, a wedding never goes exactly according to plan but they just went with the flow and no one noticed. We would definitely use them again. :)

Sept. 14, 2012, I celebrated my 40th B-day with DJ Ray Ray providing the entertainment. He rocked the house and had everyone dancing to his original, but classic beats. Definitely the most cost effective DJ around, and I will be hiring him again very soon.

My 18th debut birthday party was a success with the help of the DJ. The musics that they provided was the musics that i wanted and the guests wanted to hear. They easily adapt to any circumstances and provided good services with my guests also. The guests asked for a new song to play and they play it as soon as possible without any wait. All of my guests were delighted with the services and they asked me so many questions how I got my DJ. I initially saw DJ Ray Ray at an OC Party which was held at an event room at a nice hotel and was impressed with the sound and set-up so I hired him for my birthday party which I had at my residence. I was actually getting food for my party when he arrived on time to my house so he set up without me with the help of my friend. When I finally got to my own party, the music was pumping and everyone was having a good time.

i booked dj rayray for a 2 day party i was having for saint patty's. he literally djayed for 48 hours straight and partied with us for those 48 hours as well! he played all kinds of music! everyone loved his style and his speakers made us felt as if we were in a rave! overall my friends and myself were very satisfied with everything!

Dj Ray Ray provided his services for my 20th birthday party on friday september 30th. He went past my expectations as far as entertaining the crowd. He had no problem getting the people to dance and he had great customer service. He was very polite and did everything i required as far as playing the music i requested, bringing the fog machine, and lighting. His equipment setup was the best i ever seen and the light effects were awesome. All the people at my party loved him and we had no problem with his services. September 18, 2010 DJ Ray Ray was a DJ for my quinceanera!! Choosing DJ Ray Ray as my DJ was one of the best decisions I made! He is a rockin DJ that has great taste in music and played a variety of music from old school to hip hop and present music. DJ Ray Ray was also a great help prior to the party in helping me organize my timeline and playlists from the waltz to the toast etc. I recommend DJ Ray Ray to everyone and guarantee you wll not be disappointed.!! DJ Ray Ray was a pleasure to have as my main entertainment. He played a variety of music ranging from slasa to the 80's and of course today's top hits. He was also very considerate about the choice of music the reason being of the crowd ranging from my grandma to my classmates i graduated with. Overall he was able to adapt to each age group making it an enjoyable experience.
