I am a classically trained bassist and have been playing since the age of 6 with close to two decades of experience. I am also an experienced electric bassist. I would love to help play in your pit orchestra, classical orchestra, or any sort of music that calls for bass!
I have been described as an "electric" individual. I have an astrophysics publication, have done environmental work with NASA, world premiered pieces in Carnegie Hall, and always love bringing a good time wherever I go. I am one of the most versatile people I know, and would love to bring all my energy to all your events!
I am new to the DC area, and am excited for any opportunities out here!

I am an extremely versatile musician. Need me to sight-read charts/sheet music for a last-minute event? Do you have some originals you want to play but need me to learn by ear? Do you want to improv jam? You got it!
I pride myself on continuing to push my musical boundaries and am an expert on all fronts in performing. I bring great energy to performances, and am more than capable of playing whatever you need me to, or bringing in my own ideas to spice things up!
Born in Italy, and raised in Stuttgart, Germany, I have spent my whole life around music. I come from an Irish family so my roots are richly deep in music. I started playing classical cello and French Horn at the age of six. When I was 12, I moved to America and switched to double bass when I was 15.
This led me to a massive array of success musically, where I eventually got several collegiate offers to perform at university. I then went to Northern Arizona University and got my degrees in Astrophysics and Chemistry, while also doing music full-time.
Over 2020, I picked up the electric bass and piano. I played in a band until graduation in Arizona, and have been performing with several groups around Colorado with my electric and upright bass.
Besides my playing chops, I am also a successful scientist. I have done environmental research with NASA, been awarded top honors on multiple accounts at my university, and recently just published a paper on a new method of detecting oceans on planets outside our solar system.
I love all kinds of music, whether it be classical, bossa nova, jazz, funk, rock, metal, you name it! I would love to take part in your next event as a member, and would give your group even a leg up in any musical goals you are pursuing!
Whatever you need me to play! I know hundreds of songs; I'll usually just need a refresher on some. If I don't know it, I pride myself on my ear training, sight-reading, and improv expertise.
