Drew is a singer/guitar player performing cover songs as well as a few originals. I have an easy going laid back style and fun personality having worked in the hospitality industry for many years. I play anything from Classic rock and Folk to popular songs from more recent years and genre's like Acoustic Pop, New Folk and Adult Contemporary tunes. I absolutely love to play and sing! I am happy to blend into the background to add to the atmosphere of an establishment or event, and just as content to turn up my Bose PA and have the crowd sing along to Brown Eyed Girl or Black Water.

Drew has performed at our tap room on several occasions. His set list appeals to our demographic and he even brings in quite a few people to come see him. I have always been happy to be able to book Drew. Drew last performed for us before COVID and we haven't been able to book him since because we closed our tap room for construction so please don't let the length of the date of last booking deter you. We would book him again in a heartbeat if the tap room was currently open.

Most of the time I perform as a solo artist. I play Acoustic Guitar and sing. My playlist is fairly eclectic with tunes ranging from the 1960's to present day, and embracing many genres from older Folk and Classic Rock. The repertoire continues to expand every day.
I sit/stand in a corner and play quietly to provide some background entertainment or I can interact with the crowd and bring more energy if you prefer. My goal is to make the venue's guests happy.
During the winter months through April I sometimes have the opportunity to perform as a duo called The Davenport Boys. If you are looking for a duo, it's worth asking just in case.
I grew up in New Orleans surrounded by great music played out and fondly remember weekend mornings in the French Quarter watching the buskers perform for tips. I've lived in Central Florida for over 25 years and have a background in hospitality and Real Estate. But my Love is music and entertainment and performing for your guests fills my heart more than can be expressed.
I love all types of music and play anything from Simon and Garfunkel and the Eagles, Cat Stevens, and the Doobie Brothers to Jason Mraz, The Avett Brothers, CAAMP, and many other contemporary artists.
I do my best to approach each gig with an open mind as to what the audience and venue prefer. I am happy playing some upbeat energetic favorites that the crowd can sing along to, and equally content to provide background music with softer laid back tunes.
I am self sufficient and provide my own PA (Bose, so the sound is amazing) and mixer for my guitar and mic.

The Beatles, Eagles, America, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Iron and Wine, The Avett Brothers, CAAMP, Bob Dillon, Simon and Garfunkel, Doobie Brothers, Jimmy Buffett, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Brothers Comatose, Jack Johnson to name just a few. I am enamored with great music.
