I tried to work with this young lady to give her the business because she’s a small business owner very unprofessional very uncommunicative always says that she’s gonna call back doesn’t call back. Doesn’t keep her time. This is very very important to me so good luck in the real world because she wouldn’t get any type of referrals for me. I didn’t even get a chance to work with them. The communication alone turned me off.
Josie was fantastic! She bartended at our wedding and we LOVED her! We even had a group dance and she graciously accepted when we asked her to come out and join us. She is incredibly professional, fun, and friendly. I would hire Josie again in a heartbeat!

Firstly, I tried on 2 occasions to contact Josie and provide my feedback directly to Josie to avoid writing a negative review. Background: I planned for over a year for my 60th Bday bash. We hired Josie's server and bartender for our event. 1) Parking was never to be provided, and yet, the bartender called to say she couldn't find parking...complained about, etc. I did not need this stress 40 min prior to my party. My husband despite having 100 things to do, ran out, circled around, found parking for our car so to offer the bartender our rented spot. Her response...thank you I already found a spot. Prior to my party I reviewed our needs with Josie; old fashions were high on the list. We provided all condiments, ice booze, but the bartender was to have their basic tools. She did not have a bottle opener or a zester. I provided her with a zester and a peeler for orange, lemon, lime zest for drinks. She had no idea how to use the zester or peeler to get a slice of orange zest. I had to tell her what was in an old fashion. My guests complained that she used a shaker to mix a gin & tonic!!! deflating the tonic bubble. She also informed me this was her 3rd job of the day and she had been up since 5 am...very reassuring info when wanting to pull off a great party.
She clearly was not a bartender and perhaps would have made a great server. Especially since Josie's server was busy on her phone and not very proactive about replenishing food, and answering our buzzer which were the 2 jobs I stressed. In fact some of my guests took to throwing stones at our window since she was not answering the buzzer. All and all a very disappointed in Josie's staffing services and I will not be using Josie in the future.

Had you brought these concerns to my attention during the event, I would have taken immediate action to rectify the situation to ensure your satisfaction. I was called by my bartender because when she asked about parking your reply was, Josie should’ve known; this was not the best answer to give someone that was simply asking for better direction.
However, I respectfully disagree with the assertion regarding the guests resorting to throwing stones at your window. Such an exaggeration does not align with the overall tone and nature of the event and I’m sure they would be upset if they read this. I want to understand your disappointment and frustration, and I sincerely hope you find the level of service you seek elsewhere in the future. As a small business owner, I value each client's feedback and continuously strive to improve our services. Please note that when writing untruthful lies you are ruining someone livelihood.
You kept my staff there all night, I did not get not one call and from what I understand you went to bed early for undisclosed reasons and your husband tipped my staff pretty good and yet you were not pleased with services. I hope you don’t try to ruin another business.

Wanda served and cleared the table under very crowded conditions. 12 people were seated around a table in a small dining room. She helped in some prep work (making and serving salad)(stirring sauce and vegetables). The bulk of her work was cleaning dishes, utensils and cooking dishes, of which there were quite a few. When I came into the kitchen towards the tail end of her stay with us, the place was clean and the dishes that needed to be placed in special areas were drying on the counter. Overall, she was well worth the money and the extra pair of hands came in handy indeed.

Having Josie provide the waitstaff for our event was a great choice. They did a great job from beginning to end. They took great care of our guests, made sure food was replenished in our buffet and endured everything was clearned up before they left.

From the moment she arrived, Josie went above and beyond. She was uber prepared, even bringing her own hot pads, water pitchers, things that could help her jump in and make our feast run smoothly. In fact, she took over the final food preparations, while I needed to hostess. Josie has an incredibly positive personality as well, contributing to an event where all of our guests were well cared for and happy. We used Josie's team for our wedding reception and had a snafu with our coordinator reaching late as well as one of the two caterers, but the girls worked with one caterer and did what was needed. At the end of the event we went over by 2 hours but again the girls worked with us till nearly 1 am and even cleaned up all tables etc.

Working with Event Staffing by Josie was a great experience. I am one who has always preferred talking to a person directly instead of communicating on line because of the potential of me making a mistake. Well I did make a mistake by thinking I booked the event. Because of an email reminding me about the price quote I realized something went wrong. Without that communication I would have thought I was all set. Gig Salad got me back on track and from then on everything turned out beautifully. Events by Josie kept in contact with me, promptly replying to all questions. Ryanne was sent on the day of the event. I can't say enough about how great she is. Everything flowed perfectly and was exactly what I needed. I wanted to be able to visit with guests, not worry about putting things in and out of the oven, and keeping everything stocked. Guests commented on how attentive she was. I highly recommend Events by Jose and using Gig salad.

Words cannot express how superlative my experience with Josie's company was! Josie was able to accommodate my last-minute staffing request (after a different company cancelled my booking with them), and sent Michelle to serve wine and a buffet dinner at my garden party. Michelle was punctual, friendly, and the most hardworking and professional person I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Michelle was always two steps ahead and streamlined the whole evening perfectly. Our evening was a great success, in large part because of Michelle's thoughtfulness and amazing ability to anticipate every need, and in fact do so much more than was expected! Josie did an excellent job with bartending at our place. She was actively responded to my queries when I signed her up. Then, she was very active in setting up a drinks menu for the guests and changing them according to our wishes. She sent holders to display the drinks menu, so guests could easily see what's available.
She sent Paola for the event (though we would have preferred her :)). In any case, Paola did a great job with serving the drinks and keeping up the flow/pace of the party. Paola was on time and cleaned up before she left.

Ryann arrived almost 1 hour early because allowed extra time for potential traffic, which was wonderful! She was professional and pleasant. She was appropriately funny and personable with guests, but was always on task.She worked continually through the BBQ without any prompting, she anticipated needs I hadn't and just took care of everything!! Guests commented on how nice and helpful she was, calling her "the rockstar helper". She took a lot of care in maintaining the appearance of the tables and party area, even cleaning crumbs from serving tables. Hiring her to help was the best money we spent for the party, we were able to enjoy guests and then afterwards, the dishes were already washed!!! Thank you Ryann!!

I used Josie for a recent event with friends and family; party size approx 50 people. Michelle showed up on time and prepared her station efficiently and quickly and then offered a helping hand to us to set up. I worked with Josie to get the proper insurances together for my event and she was super committed and quick with everything; on top of that I know she is very busy so when she took the time to go over everything I knew she was doing it for me. Overall the event was a major success and both Josie and Michelle kicked butt! They were very good with thinking creatively to avoid bar back ups which was great! Also once the event was over and Michelle was all packed up she immediately lended a helping hand AGAIN! With food and even washing dishes, I was very impressed!
I was very satisfied and would certainly use her again for the same type of event. I strongly recommend her for this service!

Although somehow the information I entered on the website ended up being confused with a Boston address
The even staff contacted me stating she was at the address in Boston ,which of course was 25 miles away. WHEN I explained that was the incorrect address she immediately said she would call me back and after she spoke to her manager. Josie the manager if events by Josie called me back stating she checked the web site and it indeed said a Boston zip code (not really sure how that happened) but anyhow she said not to worry and she herself went to pick up her employer and bring her 25 miles to my home In record time. NOW that is great customer service np debating how the address was incorrect just a resolution to the problem. Can't ask for anything better.
When the she arrived with Carlina she could not have been nicer , she began to work immediately ,she went above and beyond to make this day easy me

We needed help with a high school grad party with about 150 guests. It was outdoors with a tent and a buffet set up. The server, Charisa was exceptional! She arrived on time, was professional and ready to help in which ever way was needed; replenishing the food, bussing the garbage, clearing tables and keeping the area clean and organized. She washed dishes and did things on her own, we did not need to ask. She also had the foresight to keep some of the salads closer to the buffet table in the coolers to refill when needed instead of running back to the house. We are so please with her professionalism, her skills and very nice personality.
The service front initial contact to clean up was outstanding. Josie is a true professional. She and her assistant did an excellent job serving at the wedding. I would hire Josie again for any event and recommend her highly.

I hired Josie to assist me with throwing a surprise birthday at my home. The day prior she told me that she herself was no longer able to do the party but she assured me that there would be another qualified member of her staff to come. This obviously made me nervous, but the moment I met Lasandra I knew everything was going to be great. She was extremely friendly, professional and a perfect helper. She made sure everyone always had a cold beverage, made sure all the food was out and warm and even packed the left overs up and cleaned. I will never have another party without Lasandra or Josie again. They are an amazing team and I highly recommend them.

I would HIGHLY recommend Event Staffing by Josie to anyone looking to make their event a success! The servers were early to show and wasted no time jumping in to help prep the tables for the night's dinner party. Once guests arrived they were non-stop at every whim of keeping their glasses full and serving everything from appetizers, to the main course and even stayed later than expected/requested to assist with dessert as well as clean up. I look forward to working with these professionals in the future and can only hope you choose this awesomely talented group for your next shindig, regardless of its size!
