This band is the perfect group for your next event! They talented and fun and have some sweet harmonies for the covers that they play. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every performance I’ve seen!
We worked with Folk Out Da Way for our wedding in October 2019 and they were simply amazing! They were the exact sound and liveliness we were looking for for our celebration. Their set list with a folky spin had something for everyone in attendance. Wedding planning can be very stressful, but Chris was so great with communication we never once had to worry. They provided both Classical Guitar for the ceremony and cocktail hour as well as the full band for the reception. We really appreciated the band's willingness to learn some of our favorite songs, especially when asked for an impromptu jam session of baby shark for the toddlers in attendance. The Classical Guitarist was even able to incorporate music from the Legend of Zelda video games at our request. We cannot recommend Folk Out Da Way enough. We wish we had another event to plan just so we could hire them again!
We hired Folk Out Da Way for our wedding and were completely blown away from the moment they started playing. The entire night flowed so nicely because of them. We would have our entire wedding again just to hear the music again. The band took time to make sure our day was personal and perfect.

For special events you can pick any 10 songs you want from any artist/band. We'll arrange those songs in our signature acoustic folk style with lots of vocal harmonies and good acoustic vibes.
We'll take care of all the music from start to finish, including DJing music between sets, to classical guitar instrumental cocktail/ceremony music. We'll create the perfect setlist to go with your event and work with you to customize it for your needs.
Folk out the way is an acoustic cover band located in North New Jersey. The group met during their studies at William Patterson University, after completing their music degrees they joined together to form a band of which the likes have never been seen! They specialize in taking fun pop tunes and classic hits and reworking them with a folk acoustic style. Some of their most well received songs are I Will Wait, No Diggity, Radioactive, Budapest, Baby got Back, Inside Out, Under the Bridge, and their mashup of Stand by Me and Taylor Swift's Blank Space. With their on point vocal harmonizing, and new twists on old classics your event will be sure to please all that attend.
