NYC drummer, keyboardist, and musician with over 10 years of professional experience. I offer drumming services for a variety of events, including concerts, corporate events, weddings, church bands, recording sessions, and private events. I can pick up songs very quickly and come prepared to play. My main genres are rock, funk, alternative, and jazz. I can play to a click and I have my own monitor setup.
I also have a rehearsal studio in Long Island City that we can use. This provides a lot of flexibility in preparation for any show because there's no strict time limit and we can always book more sessions.

I've been working with Greg for nearly two years and it's always been a great experience! He is a solid musician with knowledge across a multitude of genres as well as readily adapts to fit any musical scenario. Greg is very professional, communicative and I would strongly recommend him for any gig needing a drummer with great chops and good energy.

Thanks Grace! I had a great time playing for your party. Keep in touch!
Greg was absolutely amazing to work with - in our first rehearsal together, he had all the music memorized & meshed with our band immediately. Balanced knowing the music in & out with bringing his own originality to the songs. Totally enjoyed playing with him, would 100% work with him again, & can't recommend enough!
Response from Greg Drums NYC:

I can bring my own drum set, if needed. I also have a complete aux percussion setup. If the venue has backline, please let me know so I can determine what to bring.
I'm heavily influenced by 70's era rock and funk. Jazz influences are drawn from the likes of Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa.
