Bonnie was so easy to communicate with and was very prompt the day of our event. She played for four hours during my sons engagement pool party and it was such a nice touch! Thanks again for helping us with our memorable event!
Response from Hurricane Bonnie:
Thank you for the nice review. Words can hardly express my amount of gratitude. All the best Katie!
Bonnie played for three hours during our recent beach party. She worked with us ahead of time to create a set list we both loved. She was professional, prepared and everyone at the party LOVED the music. She had songs/dances/instruments for children at the party. We felt she created the perfect vibe for our party and could not be happier.
I would highly recommend her for your upcoming celebration !!
Response from Hurricane Bonnie:
Dear Mattie and Maryssa,
Thank you for taking the time to write such a fantastic review!
It was an absolute pleasure to play at your event. I feel so fortunate to have entertained people as wonderful as you all.
In addition,
…..The white table cloths flowing in the summer breeze, the backdrop of the inviting beach on the lake with the sailboat races on the horizon, the beach house, the patio, the decor, people chillin, kids playing, were all a captivating visage!
You threw that party like pros!! Thank you for offering me the opportunity to be a part of this very memorable and successful launch.
I wish you both a hearty congratulations and deepest wishes for a wonderful life together.
Blessings,
One Love,
Bonnie “Island Girl” Bowers
What an amazing artist! Bonnie provided the music and hosting of a private backyard party for my sister's birthday. She showed up early, was elegantly attired, friendly, outgoing, engaging as a host, wonderful with the kids, and the MUSIC! She performed reggae and jazzy style covers of so many familiar songs, both solo and with tracks, as well as splendid original music. She emceed the festivities like a pro! The sound system was also perfectly balanced for the space. I can't say enough great things about all aspects of her performance, charisma, and professionalism. She is my go to for any future events! Thanks Bonnie!
Response from Hurricane Bonnie:
Thank you so much, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of your celebration. All the best!
One of my favorite artists for the last 30 years, through her various genres in music, always top notch performances for a great show, never disappointed the crowd, "Shut up and kiss me!".
Response from Hurricane Bonnie:
Thank you so much Matt! It's always been easy to be a professional in superlative surroundings!
Best regards, Bonnie

Her 'world' music CD “The Best Of All Possible Worlds” on Gekko Rekkords (USA), contains original music and a Grateful Dead cover (read more). It was the first recording of it's kind to contain "surround sound" mixing and be a large system equalizing tool. The recording brought much attention in the West Indies, US and abroad ushering a release of the single "I Don't Care" through Sonic Sounds (Kingston, JA). Jamaica’s XNews credited the writing to resemble the work of the late Bob Marley.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she started early as a violin and voice soloist and at ten years of age, went on to professional recording, touring and television appearances performing large choral and dance productions. She had performed for presidents, popes, royalty and more in the children's chorus, and was required to act as an international ambassador of good will all before the age of 17.
She studied dance with the Ohio Ballet while working as a choreographer, actress and singer. After moving to New York City, Bonnie studied audio recording as well as bass and guitar while working as an acrobat, background vocalist, live audio engineer and production manager.
