Authentic Piper from the Highlands of Scotland.
What better solo performer to have for your event than an authentic Bagpiper form the Highlands of Scotland, choose me for any event, such things as a special event for a loved one, birthday party, St Patricks day event, funeral etc.
I have been playing bagpipes since I was 8 years old and now have 20 yers of experience, I learnt in Scotland and have played all over the world. (see below)
Played in Beijing (China), Calgary (Canada), Valencia (Spain) and also played for the Pope in 2010.
For an authentic touch to your special day then consider me as your piper!!
See you soon!
Jamie
Having Jamie playing at my daughter’s wedding at the Inn by the Sea in Cape Elizabeth, Maine was a a great touch as many of our family members have Celtic roots.
Jamie came with a great selection of songs and played so well.
What a pleasure to work with regarding scheduling and timing with other music played during the wedding ceremony.
We cannot thank you enough and highly recommend him for any event.

Jamie was great! Everyone loved his bag piping skills!! He was quite the hit!
I am not one to write reviews. However this time I feel it is warranted. I hired this gentlemen to perform at a funeral, assuming he was experienced enough to actually play and understand the ceremonial needs based on his reviews. I admit that we did not have the communication detailing expectations blow by blow. Jamie arrived on time and texted he was warming up in a different part of the cemetery. When he arrived at the committal shelter, he spoke with the Veterans' Honor Guard who had instructed him where to play a song in the middle of their ceremony. Having just attended another funeral at this location with a very experienced and excellent bagpiper, my expectations were that he play in the background as attendees arrived, then a song halfway through the Honors Ceremony (typically the branch of service song which he did not know), again between the Honors ceremony and the eulogy, and lastly play while the procession with Urn to the niche took place. This was seamless with my previous experience. He played two songs for this gig, the first unrecognizable more like warming up with lots of squelching. He had positioned himself in an area that was straight into the committal shelter, it was so loud and obnoxious. The second song was still overbearingly loud but recognizable. Then he LEFT! He did not wait for the funeral to end. When the podium was turned over to the gentleman doing the eulogy, Jamie walked off with the honor guard. I attempted to find him but he was long gone. I was disappointed in his 2 song performance and embarrassed that I had to announce to the attendees that he had disappeared and we had to walk the procession without sound. There is no repeats in this type of situation. His previous reviews and his offer for a reduced fee made me hire him. I believe this review is reality. This was a first experience hiring from Gigsalad and apparently he too is a novice at funeral gigs and possibly bagpiping in general. COMMUNICATION and EXPECTATIONS are a must.
Jamie, thank you so much for helping me pull of this surprise for my new husband. He was truly overjoyed and our guests loved you too. I would very highly recommend Jamie for any bagpiping needs. What a beautiful, unforgettable memory. Thank you, thank you.
Jaime was awesome. Very talented bag pipe player, super communicative, and was extremely helpful in figuring out scheduling for our wedding up in Newry. Would recommend a thousand times over.
Jaime was so kind and patient as our wedding plans evolved. He was the start of the wedding ceremony “calling” everyone to a gorgeous place in the Maine woods. He gave us the glory of the pipes for a special day with his beautiful playing to the delight of everyone particularly this Scottish family. Thank you Jamie!!
I can't say enough good things about Jamie Kelly. He was responsive and flexible, but most of all patient with our planning. He worked with the officiant so that the music fit perfectly with the ceremony. He arrived early, was beautifully attired, and his playing was magnificent.
This was a small family wedding, and my son wanted bagpipes as a surprise for his bride. She said as she starting walking down the path and heard the bagpipes, she burst into tears of gratitude.
It was just beautiful.
Jamie was fantastic and flexible with timing. He sounded beautiful and I'm so grateful we went with him for our wedding! 10/10
Jamie did a great job, exceeded all expectations and our guests really enjoyed his music and how he played the bagpipes. Would certainly recommend him to others.
We hired Jamie to play Amazing Grace on bagpipes at my father's burial. He was promptly on time (a bit early to warm up), was respectful of the occasion and communicated clearly his understanding with helpful suggestions about what we wanted and needed. Jamie was in full highland regalia, neat and professional in appearance. His playing was excellent, lending just the right feeling to the occasion. He has our family's highest recommendation.
Jaime played for my daughter’s wedding. He led a parade of guests from the ceremony site to the reception site. It was very well received. Jamie was easy to work with and provided exactly what we asked for!
Jamie was easy to work with, responsive and a true professional. Highly recommend.
Jamie added such a wonderful experience to a sad event, as it was a graveside burial. He did such a great job, it will be remembered forever by all of our attendees. Thank you Jamie, our appreciation is beyond words.
A lovely chap, who helped make the occasion. Super easy to coordinate with and played to the moment perfectly. Thank you.
Jamie did a wonderful job and captured just the feeling we were going for at our wedding. Highly recommend! Super nice and very professional.
Jamie was an excellent bagpiper. He had beautiful, timely communication, was prompt for the event, and he was a brave soldier to play for us in the rain........
I would highly recommend Jamie for anyone wishing to have a piper at their event. We hope to hire him again, whenever we have a party or funeral or wedding that might require his services.
Beautiful music, piped our mother out in style with full dress kilt and accoutrements, and he was very kind and flexible. A right upstanding fellow!
Jamie was on time, extremely professional, and played eloquently, and we will hire him again in the future....He was the hit of the event, with everyone asking to take pictures with him. We recommend him highly!!!

Jamie arrived on time was in communication with me a couple days prior to discuss any special request and put on a great show.
Beautiful music for a beautiful wedding day.
Jamie played beautifully. He arrived early to warm up and was playing as dozens of my parents family and friends arrived. He played during the committal & as we all left.
Everyone in attendance was so impressed. He made our service special. I would recommend Jamie for any event.

Jamie was not only prompt and courteous, but he also played beautifully. He was the perfect beginning to our wedding!
Jaime was amazing we can't believe how wonderful he played ! We will definitely be having him play again
Jamie played for my wedding ceremony. He was early for set up and played as my guest entered. They were all amazed and wowed. They followed his music into the venue. He did the traditional leading of the groom and played his entrance which was so impressive. His music was moving and he was a joy to work with. I highly recommend him.
Jamie was fabulous. His talent was evident right off the bat and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the show. He was a joy to work with, tailored his music to meet the theme of the party and Made it all easy. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
Loved having Jamie as part of our day and I know our guests did too! He did a great job & was a pleasure to work with. As the bride, my only wish is that I was there to enjoy more of it since I only arrived at the end of the his playing! Great job Jamie; thank you so much!
Caught Jamie on short notice for a wedding. Bagpipes we’re to be a surprise and Jamie managed to arrive early, warm up, and make his entrance without anyone noticing. He began playing a slow tune to acknowledge the passing of loved ones then led into a lively song that had everyone stomping their feet and clapping their hands. He was pitch perfect and played beautifully. He’s a good looking lad with a healthy Scottish brogue and a great personality. Everyone loved Jamie and wanted him to come back in to play. Aside from the vows he was the part of the wedding everyone talked about. I can’t recommend Jamie more highly.
Jamie was prompt, professional, and a true joy for the event.
Jamie was absolutely the best! I'd give him a ten star review if I could. He was prompt, courteous and a wonderful piper. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a piper. Carole Fitzgibbon Redden
P.S. Jamie's from Inverness, Scotland and my son-in-law who was in attendance is from Fife. It made the event even more special to have two Scots attending a mostly Irish celebration!
Jamie was fantastic. He was excellent to work with and a perfect gentleman. I would book him again for sure.
Jamie arrived early and was the perfect surprise! He played beautifully, 10/10 would book him again!
Jamie did an amazing job! I would highly recommend him! He was prompt, professional and so friendly!
Jamie was loved by all in attendance. His smile and his calm demeanor made our graveside ceremony special. His playing of "Amazing Grace" was...well "Amazing". I would highly recommend Jamie for any occasion!
Jamie had to pull out of our party just 2 weeks before due to family issues. It was hugely disappointing as the invitation promised a bag piper (some of us had been to Scotland recently & this was the theme on the invitation). I had spent so much time researching/corresponding about the songs with Jamie about the songs and planning the entrance and location of a piper back in early November but on the other side of the coin, family illness is more important than a party.
Jamie was great....my husband is a snare drummer in a pipe band in Calgary so he knew when Jamie started playing how good he was....
We hired Jamie to play bagpipes for my dad's memorial service in Cassadaga on February 11th. He was at the service before we arrived and was courteous, professional, and his gift on the bagpipes touched my siblings and I. We had numerous attendees come up to us during the reception to compliment us hiring him. There is not one thing I would change about Jamie performing. Aside from the music, his appearance and appreciative demeanor, along with his condolences to my siblings and I was, was respectful and we are grateful. I would hire him again. Thank you Jamie.
Jamie was great! Very personable young man, who did a great job at my dad's funeral.
Jamie was amazing. He really went above and beyond to make my day special. I booked him really close to my event and I was frantic. He was so easy to work with and flexible. He got to my event early to tune his bagpipes and it helped let people where to go. He helped me by suggesting songs and practically planned the event music for me. It was wonderful. I would highly recommend him for anyone's event.
