A new bright light shines on our San Diego music scene in Jeff Jacobs. From the first time I saw him perform at a Lestats open mic, I knew he was special. His repertoire is vast and his songs, both originals and covers, are are beautiful musically and lyrically, but his stage presence is even more so. Relaxed and full of humor, his emotions pour freely and connect where it counts most: the heart. Most recently he was a standout at the memorial event for Jaime Shadowlight where he performed a song of his that she loved, “Star Child”, a moment that truly touched infinity.
