John Carrillo

Exceptional vocal ability and great song selection! I am also keenly aware of the client's needs with respect to the dynamics of the performance. I can be as soft or loud as they need me to be. My emceeing experience has taught me the importance of establishing a great rapport with the audience.

As a veteran of the Orange County music scene, John has performed at numerous corporate events, weddings, private parties as well as many of the OC's premier concert venues such as The Coach House and The Grove. He has also performed at numerous branches of Starbucks Coffee, Diedrich Coffee, Borders Books and Barnes and Noble. He currently performs regularly at Marriott's Newport Coast Villas located in Newport Beach, CA. His repertoire includes a wide variety of styles and genres. From classic and indie rock to pop to standards, John has it covered! John is currently host of Songwriters Night at Alta Coffee in Newport Beach and has been featured in The Orange County Register and Performing Songwriter Magazine.

I usually perform alone, with one mic and my Bose PA, which provides excellent sound while at the same time occupying the smallest space possible. Additional musicians, e.g. bass, percussion are available on request
