A professional, inspiring, and practical message that will help any audience become the best versions of themselves.
I am a speaker, health and wellness coach, and a pastor, and I am here to help!
Over the past 10 years or so, I have realized that our physical, mental, and spiritual health are intimately intertwined. I feel it is my call and mission to help people become the best version of themselves and find freedom from that which holds them back. I am currently a pastor in central Ohio and have been a part of 5 various church plants. In between pastoral roles, I helped people pursue their fitness goals as a personal trainer and coach.
A decade ago, I struggled with depression to the point of daily suicidal ideation, I had no relationship with God, and I was obese. I was a mess. But slowly, things started to turn around for me.
I began a training regimen to lose weight and I started getting a little more confident in myself. My depression was getting easier and easier to manage, and I finally started to believe that there was a God that could love me. Over the years, journaling, scripture reading, meditating, and exercise have become part of my normal rhythm.
I noticed something very interesting: when I was improving in one area, I was typically improving in all areas. When I was disciplined in my daily devotionals, I was also more disciplined in my diet. When I was disciplined in my training, I also spent more time in my journal, prayer, and meditation.
This is when I learned that discipline begets discipline. And this is why I started Viribus Fidelium (viribus meaning ‘strength’ and fidelium meaning ‘faithfulness’).
It is my personal goal to get healthier every day, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I want to be able to face any adversity that comes my way and stand up strong on the other side. I want to be able to help people when they feel weak and be someone who can be strong for them. I want to be strong enough to admit my weaknesses and work to become better.
However, you cannot become strong overnight; this is where faithfulness comes into play. I have not found any quick fixes when it comes to my struggles in my faith, mental health, or fitness journey. There is no magic pill that will get you out of your rut and leave you feeling completely carefree. Viribus Fidelium is about the long game. You must be faithful in your pursuit of strength, striving daily to become physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy, while giving yourself grace in the journey.
Allow me to help you on your journey to becoming healthy: physically, mentally, and spiritually.
