Josette

Josette is a 15 year old singer/songwriter who's been writing songs since the age of 7. At the age of 10 her love and passion for music grew stronger and it dragged her into teaching herself how to play both the guitar and the piano. Her bigger audience and one she will always remember was The Apollo Theater in New York where she sang Christina Aguilera's "Hurt" at the age of 12. Recently, Josette won a Geico (Grand Prize Winner) contest where a song had to be written to promote safe driving. She also just finished working on her first album with 13 of her original songs. She continues to perform jumping from stage to stage, singing original as well as covering the most popular of today songs, sharing her music with the world. She says "It's the only thing I can see myself doing, no because I'm not capable of anything else, but because is my passion!
