“My music and my literature represent my spiritual journey. My music has been birthed from my experiences and documents my spiritual growth. My music tells my story, shows my trials, lessons learned, revelations, and reveals my joys and pains. I desire to keep my music “Real” and I believe my listeners find that they can relate to what they hear. I am still growing and learning. I try to remain “teachable” because I know that as long as I am alive, I am still learning and experiencing new things. When I approach life this way, The Lord amazes me every time in what He reveals to me. I don’t expect everyone to relate …and that’s okay. But there are many who can and will make that connection, those are the ones the Lord tells me to share my story with. The Lord recently told me that “There are only two types of music in the world, “…music that draws people away from Him and music that draws people near to Him.” I write music that draws people near to Him. That is my calling. So even though my music seems to cross-over many genres, I keep the same message very clear, I know the One who has brought me through and has been faithful throughout my whole life’s journey. My music just tells my story. My music tells my testimony.”
"The stories that I write have the same deep convictions."
K’Mille’s testimony in and of itself is quite powerful which she is currently penning in a novel soon to be released in mid-2012. Movie productions are also being planned. “The Lord called me “Multi-media”. So I already know that my testimony will be told and shown in a variety of media platforms. I’m ready for the challenge.
K’Mille’s journey continues…there is much more to come and she is lead and encouraged to share her journey and her testimony.
