Lazaro is an American singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, California. Introspective yet accessible, his style reflects his love for the classic sounds of Rock, Blues, and Folk music with timeless lyrical themes. Born and raised in Southern California to first-generation Cuban-American parents, Lazaro built an identity within his own unique little world, coming of age through the music of John Mayer, Rob Thomas, and countless other songwriters. He first started performing original music in high school, with short-lived band project “Guys with Guitars” in 2011. By 2013, he had formed “Behind the Veil,” a local church house band in Orange County. All the while, his solo project laid dormant as his writing skills developed and evolved across multiple genres. In 2021 Lazaro went viral on TikTok with over 12 Million video likes, and he has since built a positive community of music-lovers. He has been engaging with fans and preparing them for his debut solo project, a full-length album (title TBA) to be released early 2022. Current and upcoming singles like Endless Summer, Fall, Call You Baby, and others have been teased across social media to the community, who are eager for more.
Lazaro is flexible to work on any stage (or without one at all), and any lighting setup you may have. For sound, he can either plug in to your/venue PA system or bring his own equipment (capable of filling a room of roughly 200 people).
