I am a singer and songwriter. I perform original music and covers in the genres of Jazz, Soul, R&B, Rock&Roll, Classic Rock, singer/songwriter and pop. I am a New York City resident, but love to travel and am willing to travel for events. I am excited to provide entertainment at your next event!
Leah and her guitarist Noe sang/played at my wedding ceremony and reception and added SO much to the romantic yet playful ambience I had going on. Her voice is absolutely gorgeous and flexible, accommodating jazzy/soul numbers to indie and pop numbers alike. Leah performed at a private birthday party event that I threw last minute for my partner. Leah was very flexible and communicative beforehand, helped provide lighting options, and willing to work with us based on our location, budget, and other needs. She was very professional. beautiful voice she sing for me in my home & i had a 4 year old running around touching her stuff & wanting to take the stage like 4 years old do. She includes her in the performance & never miss a beat with the songs. Stage presence was amazing. She talked to us & asked about request we had. Overall experience was dynamic & i am gonna use her again for future services .
Leah was absolutely amazing to work with. I wanted a very rustic bluesy type theme engagement party. Nothing too loud very just laid-back. She was so great that the venue even asked me for her info so they can add her to their list. One of the first compliments out of everyone’s mouth was how amazing the band was. From the moment I contacted Leah, she was incredibly energetic, engaging and a delight to work with. I was looking for a duet to perform at my parent's surprise Anniversary and was hoping to find talented singers that were willing to learn some of their favourite songs to mark the occasion. Leah was incredibly flexible and said that she would be able to accommodate - not only finding a partner, but learning the songs in a limited period of time. So I was looking for a male singer to sing 2 songs to someone I cared about and good not be with on her birthday. Leah had answered my ad not knowing I needed a male. When I responded that I wanted a male singer she replied she would help me find one. And she did quickly. I hired Timothy Smith. My girl and all her friends loved him. Thought he was great and wanted to know if he was single. Very reliable and he did a great job I saw the video. So thank you to Leah and Tim.

Ms. Leah Hinton was the main attraction at the 2019 Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM) event at the Henderson Institute Histirical Museum in Hendrrson, NC. She was such an excellent performer that she was booked again for the 2020 JAM event in April. You will not be disappointed with her performance!
