If you are looking for a face painter and/or balloon artist, you will not find one better than Lib's Lab. She showed up early, brought and setup her own tent and equipment, and was an absolute delight to talk to. There are other face painters out there, but they will not do anywhere near the quality of job that you will get from her. The faces were amazing, the balloon art she made was truly amazing and I cannot recommend her enough!

We had a birthday party for our foster son. (8th bday and he had never had a party) None of the children invited came. Sunshine made our boys laugh, smile and her postive vibes brought happiness to my foster loves.
The birthday boy ended the day with , "This was the best day ever!"

The residents at the assisted living really had their Valentines day made when Lib's Lab came to brighten their day. The staff was amazed at how much joy they got from the entire experience. We will definitely recommend them to anyone!

This is the second year we have worked with Lib's Lab for our fundraiser and she's been a great person to work with. I booked Lib's Lab for my daughters fourth birthday this year. Jean kept in touch with me the couple of months ahead of time to make sure everything tured out perfect. She brought a custom Sophia The First balloon for my daughter, it was spectacular. Everyone at the party loved her and asked me how I found her.
Jean was great with the children. They loved her and you could tell they were comfortable. She painted all the kids faces with some of the best face painting I have ever seen. Her balloon creations were amazing as well.
I will definitely be booking her again in the future. Jean brought the party with her and made my daughters birthday unforgettable.

We had Lib's Lab come to our daughter's 7th birthday party. It was amazing! The guests were absolutely captivated by her. Each guest had their face elaborately painted, with excellent quality colors that washed off very easily when the time came. Each guest also had a custom-made balloon made right before their eyes with the colors of their choice. Several parents have since told me their child cannot stop talking about "Miss Lib" and want to hire her as well.
Jean's communication with us beforehand was remarkable. I am a planner and did not need to worry one bit about this part of the party. Even having not met her prior to the day of the party I could tell everything was under control, and it was without question!
The birthday girl got a very special balloon that matched our theme (Disney Palace Pets). She also got an awesome balloon crown made of her favorite colors that she wore throughout the party. Jean has a unique ability to make the birthday child feel distinguished, will still making the guests feel special as well which is no easy feat!
Will definitely be calling again! Thank you again so much, Jean.

I had Lib's Lab do balloon twisting and face painting for my daughter's 1st birthday party. We had about 20 kids ranging from 1-6 years old. This was the PERFECT entertainment to keep everyone of that age range entertained for 2 hours. The parents loved watching Jean work too! She was so patient, friendly and warm to all of the kiddos. In every interaction with Jean before, during and after the party she was so enthusiastic and excited for our party. She even made a large, very time consuming, beautiful, special balloon butterfly for my daughter to match her birthday theme. I'm so glad we had Lib's Lab for my daughter's 1st birthday party!

Let me introduce myself! I am Jean Lewis, owner of Lib's Lab Family Entertainment. I have been working with my husband in children's ministry for over 30 years and loving every minute of it! Our love for working with children began when our own kids were small! We got ahold of our first puppets, created their characters, and the laughter we came up with, well, it was really good for the heart! It was SO much fun in fact, that we realized, hey, this is where we belong- with kids! Over the years, we've had so much enjoyment from puppets, face painting, silly skits, singing, gospel presentations, balloon twisting and foreign mission trips, all the while gaining valuable experience for interacting with and training up the next generation! We've also picked up like-minded friends along the way!
In 2008, wanting to create my own business to supplement our family income, I took it to the Lord in prayer, asking for a 'download', from heaven's" idea zone" so to speak :) The business would have to be a fun platform where kids' lives could be impacted by love, encouragement, exhortation and comfort. Weird, but I got the old Beatles' tune playing over and over in my head relentlessly: "Let It Be, Let It Be". Hubby interrupted my train of thought with a cup of coffee and I shared the craziness with him. After musing a bit, he replied," Hmmm, 'Let. It. Be. So.', like, speaking good to come into the kids' lives..." BINGO! I saw myself dressed in a white lab coat with electric blue hair creating things in the "laboratory" of my mind to bless kids! Thus," Libby" the lab technician was born, who creates good things for kids in her 'laboratory'!
Since that day, Libby and her friends have been focused on providing you, the client, with the best professional entertainment for any event, both corporate and private! Just imagine the possibilities!

Kids are our passion! We've been involved in children's ministry for over 30 years when we picked up our first puppets!
Personally, I have to thank my mom for encouraging me in the arts. From the time I was taking private art lessons at 11 years old, I've worked with all kinds of mediums from oils, acrylics,and watercolors, to creating edible masterpieces such as wedding and birthday cakes!
I was encouraged by a good friend in the 80s, Celia "CiCi the Clown" Wright, to try painting on a different canvas- kids' faces- with Mehron brand face paints. What fun! Then she influenced me to try twisting balloons, teaching me the basics! I loved it, and the rest is history!
