The New York City based rock'n'roll outfit Lizard Pizza blends American Traditional stylings with punk rock ethos. The group draws significant influence from the worlds of gritty blues, hot Jazz, Western swing, and classic rock, all while maintaining a sense of urgency that keeps their audiences dancin' and hollerin' for more. The band's sound is built upon the tastefully heavy playing of drummer Oliver "Pops" Beardsley and the fat, slithering low-end of bassist AJ "Slay-J" Van Suetendael. Guitarist Ben Carbone plays with the sweetness of bubblegum and the tenacity of a buzz saw, while Vocalist/Lyricist Troy Krusz sings songs about fruitless fishing trips and wails on his harmonica.
