I make people laugh whether it's a packed theater or a backyard.
I saw Lou during the "Millenia" performance during Philly Fringe. The show, which was good, was much better for having Lou provide comic relief. Not only was he extremely funny, but his timing impeccable and his presence filled the room.
Of 13 comedians we saw compete, Lou was the funniest, the most lively, and the most interesting. He was edgy without being mean. Had a big energy and knows exactly who he is. Offers a great take on hipsters and how ridiculous they can be. Highly recommended. My friend and I liked four of the comedians we saw but Lou was a couple of levels above in both humor and presentation.
Our organization was very happy with the extremely talented Lou Misiano. Lou had a very diverse range of comedic topics and he crafted each one very well.
As the first of several comics for our event, he did a great job in warming up the audience and once he got going further into his performance, the audience loved him more and more. I strongly recommend Lou for anybody looking for a highly skilled comic.

I am a high octane, high energy act. My entire mentality when performing is that doing stand up is the most fun thing on the planet, and my goal is to convey that to every audience member. I am here to entertain and I leave every audience feeling positive and in a great mood. My only goal is for the audience to have fun.
Look… I hate doing these things. I feel like such a douche every time I’m asked to write a bio because it just feels like I’m bragging and I hate arrogance. And also, between you and I, my ego is already so big it should be represented at the UN. But whatever, fine. I will do my best to tell you facts and I’ll try not to throw up in the process.
I did stand up for my first time when I was 16 during a talent show. Got hooked and searched for stage time everywhere I could, which, up until I left college was pretty much school events or small shows I’d produce around my town. Made it to my junior year of college before I decided I wanted comedy to be my life and I promptly dropped out and moved to the closest city to pursue it.
I’ve lived in Philadelphia for 3 years now and in that time I’ve gotten on a stage almost every night of the week. I’ve been booked regularly up and down the east coast I’ve run three shows, two open mics and am now a host a Helium Comedy Club in Center City. So, yeah. I think that’s it. Was that alright? Is it ok that I wrote this in the first person?
The best thing about stand up comedy is that it is simple. Requires only a microphone, seating and an audience that wants to laugh and have fun.
