My biggest influences have been serving in the US Army, 35 years of nursing & leading teams, as well as being a single Mom of 3 amazing young ladies & raising them on a farm in mid-MN. I admire so many people in my personal life from my parent and grandparents to my children. I have been lucky to have some not so great leaders (they taught me what I didn't want to do) and some really talented and inspiring leaders (they taught me what to do right and how to find my voice.) Famous influences - Jesus Christ for starters - I don't think I need to say more! John C. Maxwell, Maya Angelou, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Simon Sinek, Mel Robbins, and the list goes on.
Projector, screen, mic. Room set up depends on what I'm doing. I often have audience participation - when there is more, as for a workshop - we would need tables for small group work.
