We hired Mandorla's guitarist Aubrey Driggers to perform at our wedding and at the cocktail reception afterward. He was wonderful. He played a variety of songs and had a wide-ranging repertoire that included classical music, acoustic Beatles and traditional wedding tunes. At our ceremony his playing was absolutely beautiful and graceful...and his performance at our cocktail reception was a perfect upbeat compliment.
Terrific musician, extremely professional, very accommodating. He treated us like we were friends.
Mandorla played for our New Year's Eve party and official launch of our new brewery. They were excellent. The music they played was well rounded and got everyone moving. It really kept the party going and we frequently got asked when the band would be back when they just took about 10 minute breaks. I would definitely book them again.
Response from Mandorla Music Services:
Thank you very much, Melissa and everyone at Seven Arrows Brewery. Hope to see you again soon.
Mandorla was the PERFECT choice for our event. Professional, prompt and engaging. We had over 250 persons attend our hotel's grand opening and everyone enjoyed the music immensely. I look forward to future bookings.
Response from Mandorla Music Services:
Thank you Sara! We enjoyed playing for the Hyatt grand opening. It is a lovely hotel. Let us know how we can help you in the future.
As the Hospitality Director for a luxury winery in Northern Virginia, I research and book musical entertainment for many events. Aubrey played solo at our vineyard this past week, and was fantastic! Perfectly modulated to the environment, beautiful guitar, great voice, and very professional and adaptable. The guests loved him, and we look forward to having him, and hopefully the entire band, back soon.
I also saw Mandorla at a local winery, and I have seen them at various food/wine establishments around Culpeper. They always fit the atmosphere of the venue and the crowd. Their song list is always varied and can fit anyone in the crowd. They truly cater to their audience. As the first review said, they are more than happy to speak with anyone during breaks or after the show for questions or general conversations, very friendly guys. Though I have not personally booked them (yet), they would be perfect for a wedding or any other event.
Response from Mandorla Music Services:
Thank you Ashleigh.
We look forward to playing for you anytime!
I saw Mandorla play at a local winery and I was impressed. You can tell that these talented professionals truly love performing their music. They had a varied selection of songs that blended well with the winery's atmosphere. After their performance, they even stayed to talk to any patrons that had questions. Mandorla transformed a nice outing into a marvelous time. I will make sure to visit the winery again when they come back to perform.

Mandorla, a three piece band from Central Virginia, plays a blend of jazz, rock and original music.
At a show, you’re likely to hear just a little bit of everything — recent tunes, classic cover songs and catchy originals. Playing in between styles and bringing a fresh interpretation to each song is a band trademark.
Since 2008, the band has played throughout the region, from Charlottesville to the Washington, DC suburbs. Whatever the venue — winery, night club, private party, community street festival or coffee shop — we would be a good fit and a complement to your occasion.
Band member biographies
Aubrey Driggers | Guitar and vocals
Playing since age 16, Aubrey’s primary musical influences are jazz, folk and independent artists. A Florida native, he came to Virginia on his 12th birthday. After studying classical guitar with longtime Culpeper music instructor and teacher Duane Clore, Aubrey established himself as a respected local solo artist and continues to play solo gigs. In addition, Aubrey has also lent his talents to several area rock and ska bands, both as a leader and member.
Brent Logan | Bass
Brent bought his first bass at age 16 and formed a band with a close friend. Influenced primarily by late 80s alternative and punk music, Brent is most at home in three piece bands, where his solid, full bass lines give the group lots of room to roam. Brent’s foray into jazz began after meeting Aubrey in 2003, a connection that’s pushed him out of his comfort zone but ultimately made him more comfortable for it.
Nate Delesline III | Drums
A drummer since age 7 and former military brat and former resident of Delaware, Nate’s travels exposed him to a variety of musical styles, tastes and people.
While on Delmarva, Nate studied under local drumming legend Honey Voshell for about four years. Mr. Voshell helped him develop an ear and appreciation for jazz. Nate also stayed musically busy, playing gigs with Holly Lane and Shore Jazz; the Milford Community Band and Salisbury, Maryland-based Energy Field.
We have a full range of professional sound equipment that we customize to match each venue and gig.
