Sean was great! His piping and his Address to the Haggis at our Burns Night were lively and stirring. He dealt extremely well with some of the limitations of a large party in a mid-sized home, mixed in wonderfully with our guests, and truly made our evening a glowing success. Everyone was raving about him afterwards.

We hired piper Sean McKenzie to play bagpipes at my late husband's memorial service. Wonderful. I would highly recommend Sean. I may end up holding another wake this spring as we couldn't fit everyone in due to Covid and I will hire him again if this happens.

Sean was great. Arrived 30 min before to review our requirements and to tune the pipes. Our event required Sean to pipe in the head table and was very well received by our guests. Cordial, professional - I would definitely recommend Sean.

Sean did an wonderful job at my father’s funeral. As requested, he piped us out with Amazing Grace and then played several more songs outside the venue. He knew all the songs we asked him for and I know my dad would have loved it. Thank you.

I can’t recommend Sean more highly. He is awesome. I wasn’t there in person but was FaceTiming with my sister while she was in my parent’s backyard. While on the call I could hear hear the song of the pipes in the distance. My sister asked my Dad if he could hear them. He couldn’t so she led him to the front yard. As they stood there my Dad saw Sean marching towards him, playing the pipes and the sound rousing the entire neighborhood. My Dad was grinning from ear to ear as was my mom, sisters, their friends and all of the neighbors. Sean’s playing made my Dad’s 80th an event to remember. Thank you Sean! We will never, ever forget it!

Sean's outfit, his kindness, his follow up to ensure everything would be as I'd hoped, his skill and his showmanship all won my Mum's heart on Mother's Day. She asked me to say that he "made her day" but I saw how she beamed, how her heart danced and her hands tapped out the familiar songs. Sean brought my Mum a little bit of history and value that I could never do otherwise. The neighbour's watched and said how lucky she was. Sean was a natural showman, focused on her and he made Mother's Day spectacular. I can't think of any way to recommend him more highly. :)

Sean was not only flexible and very punctual, it was a breeze to plan song selection and overall timing for his performance. He powered through a very cold snowy morning and played beautifully as my surprised Grandmother listened from the 4th floor of her assisted living facility and my mother with the rest of us enjoyed outside from the ground level. There wasn’t a dry eye among us. Sean’s incredible talents made an otherwise possibly lonely Christmas morning for my Grandma an unforgettable experience for all of us. Thank you again Sean so much.

He played beautifully at my wedding reception at Pearson Convention Centre. I received tons of compliments about Sean being the perfect touch to the reception! My husband's family is Scottish and had gave Sean a list of songs to play at the last-minute and I heard he nailed all of them! Super impressive. I was worried about my reception being dead because COVID imposes a lot of restrictions but Sean made things lively with his piping skills! Sean did a fantastic job for my aunt and uncle’s 60th wedding anniversary. Since they couldn’t have a big party we wanted to mark the occasion with something special. Wow! This was it! They were so surprised! Sean started playing from down the street, then came right into the backyard. They were in awe. A piper just for them! He was very friendly and respectful and did a great job with the performance. Just a lovely man and my aunt and uncle enjoyed the short chat with him and walked with him as he piped himself out! We decided to take a moment on our street In Toronto to honour those lost in Nova Scotia this past week by having a piper play. Sean was wonderful. Wow! So I reached out to Bagpipes for our event one week before my wedding because I had someone cancel last minute. I asked to play 2 songs for me that are not traditional songs, ACDC and Avicci. He had never heard of them. He said give me 4 days, I'll do my best to learn them. Well, that he did! He absolutely killed it!!! This guy made our day! He was so professional and talented.
