I help people optimize their time and efforts on LinkedIn. Many organizations book me to train their business development team or their organization's members on how to use LinkedIn more effectively. My presentations are hands-on: attendees will follow along on their phone via the LinkedIn app or on their laptops.
I recently saw Brenda present on LInkedIn strategy at the LMA Midwest Conference. She was engaging, personal, and her advice was immediately useful. I look forward to learning more from her in the future and highly recommend her to any company or law firm looking to level up their social media presence.
Response from Meller Marketing:
Thank you Renee! I had a blast presenting and glad to have had the chance to meet you. Looking forward to watching your progress on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is a powerful tool for marketers and sales professionals. There are some powerful techniques to optimize your LinkedIn presence, and common mistakes which may prevent you from maximizing your results.
Based on past team training, I know there will be a range of LinkedIn experience levels in the room. It is important that the training addresses the needs of beginners as well as the more advanced LinkedIn user.
Training should be approachable and practical – and FUN!
I’ll deliver a session that is beneficial and enjoyable for every person who attends. I love educating others on how to unlock the power of LinkedIn.
Attendees should bring their laptops, tablets, and/or smart phones (with an installed LinkedIn app) to put learnings to work immediately.
At the end of the session, I’ll assign “homework” designed to help practice techniques addressed in the session.
For the past ten years, Brenda has been embracing social media to help propel her personal and professional efforts and now through Meller Marketing, she helps people and businesses with marketing and social media, specializing in LinkedIn.
She first realized the power of social media when making a career change using LinkedIn at the height of Michigan’s downturn in 2008. She started sharing her knowledge of social media through workshops, webinars, presentations, and via blogs.
In 2017, her side hustle led to her dream job with the launch of Meller Marketing. In 2019, she set and met a personal stretch goal and rewarded herself with a promotion to Chief Engagement Officer.
Brenda’s approach has always been to present information in a “judgement-free” zone, where there are no bad questions, and to make sure every attendee gains new insights that can be put to use right away.
In addition to being self-taught across social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Glassdoor, and more), Brenda has a solid marketing education. She earned a bachelor of science in business administration degree with a specialization in marketing communications from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and a dual MBA and master of science in marketing from Walsh College. She also earned her competent communicator (CC) and competent leader (CL) status in Toastmasters International, a public speaking organization.
In 2017, Brenda was named a MichBusiness Most Valuable Professional. She is a member of Inforum, Michigan’s largest professional women’s networking association, where she also leads the Troy networking group. She is also a member and serves on the board of Together Digital – Detroit. Meller Marketing is a member of the Troy Chamber of Commerce, the Detroit Economic Club, and the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber.
Brenda is an enthusiastic speaker who loves engaging with audiences, both at conferences and corporate events. In 2019, she became a national speaker.
You can find Brenda Meller and Meller Marketing online on all the major social media channels. Someday soon, she will complete her next goal of writing a book on LinkedIn.
Other Important Facts: Brenda loves coffee, chocolate, and pie. In her downtime, she enjoys jigsaw puzzles.
If the room requires audio for attendees in the back row or to the far left or right, a lapel microphone and sound system should be provided by the event organizer or venue.
I'll be presenting slides and will encourage attendees to take pictures and post on LinkedIn. This works best in a well lit room with a high quality projector.
I also recommend that WiFi is easily accessible to attendees. For sessions of 2 hours or more, I recommend the room provides adequate power outlets and extension cords so that attendees' laptops remain fully charged throughout training.
