Lauren Hope is a former t.v. journalist with a powerful story of surviving suicide, learning to live with depression, and starting over again. Her motivational speeches help others discover that recovery is possible, and sparks hope in others to fight for their best lives.
Lauren Hope is a former tv journalist began sharing her mental health journey on her blog in 2016, and instantly found an online community inspired by her transparency. The experience allowed Hope to travel the state of Virginia giving talks on suicide prevention, mental health, and recovery.
Lauren is a superstar. She lead a movie viewing at my local theater about suicide. Not only did she show the movie but also provided professionals and shared her own story with mental health. It was so personal and educational. It made me want to start therapy myself. If you have an event about mental health - she knows hows to show up and transform lives.

Lauren Hope is a mental health advocate and Peer Recovery Specialist in the Williamsburg, Virginia. She was hired to address the opioid crisis in Hampton Roads. Her positions allows her to offer support to people after overdoses, suicide attempts, and crisis. She has received several certifications in suicide prevention and over the past 2 years she has traveled the state informing others about suicide, mental health wellness, and living in recovery. Hope is also a blogger, and is currently working on a book about her mental health journey.
