Michael Hewett

Talked with Hewett about the ceremony, the vibe, etc. He gave me a selection of his work he thought might work. Upon listening, "Golden" jumped out at me. When I. sent the track to my son to be brides professional musical friends, they weren't so sure about it. However when Agatha appeared at the top of the white stone staircase and slowly descended through the terraced gardens down to the pier with majestic Lake Atitlan and her surrounding mountains while Micheal played, well it was simply spectacular. An unforgettable moment that can be recalled simply by playing a song... Michael played a few other songs as well, equally impactful, equally beautiful. To sum it all up, emotional, beautiful, magical unforgettable. There is noone on the planet who plays like Micheal Hewett. Full recommendation.

I hired Michael to perform at the wedding of my wife and I in upstate New York. Beyond being one of the kindest and friendliest people present at the event, he was also a masterful musician.

The task I set for Michael was far from straightforward. While many would be satisfied with a Beatles cover at their reception, my request was significantly more demanding. My wife and I have a favorite song by a South American artist named Gustavo Santoalla. To honor this, I had a luthier in Bolivia create a rare and somewhat unknown stringed instrument and deliver it to us. My challenge to Michael was to learn to play this unfamiliar instrument and to master three songs, all previously unknown to him. He not only accomplished this but did so with finesse.

I cannot recommend Michael highly enough. His performance and dedication were exceptional. A resounding 10/10.

I’m so glad we had Michael at our wedding. From the moment we met him, we felt like he was devoted to making our night as magical as possible. He took the time to understand what kind of vibe we were going for and paid attention to the tones and sounds we wanted to hear. He even worked with my best friend who wanted to perform a song for us. His music is incredible to say the least and he has amazing energy about him that made the whole experience so easy and amazing Would recommend him time and time again!
