Michael is a professional photographer for over 26 years. He snapped his first photograph when he was only 16 years old, using an antique Polaroid camera and has been inseparable from a camera ever since. Michael began his professional career in a photo studio in the historic town of Falmouth, Jamaica taking portraits for residents and visitors. Instead of the fixed studio background, Michael quickly realized that the historical town’s ocean, Georgian architecture river and natural vegetation offered endless changing backgrounds which enhanced the subject in the foreground. Naturally, the outdoors became his preferred studio.

Michael now resides in beautiful Nantucket, a small island off the coast of Massachusetts, which is reminiscent of historic Falmouth. Michael has professionally photographed several thousand weddings, birthdays, graduations, parties, individual, family and group portraits and many other photo-archival events. Michael also specializes in landscape and fashion photographs.
