With an amazingly vast repertoire of Jazz Standards from the American Songbook and Brazilian Music, Moonlight Jazz Duet revives the lively mood of the swing era with a touch of latin & contemporary flavor, taking the audiences into a sound experience enjoyable for all.
Our repertoire cover the catalog of iconic composers like George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Antonio-Carlos Jobim, immortalized in the voice of legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Frank Sinatra. Every show blends perfectly the art of improvisation and sensitivity, featuring creatively-arranged versions for the intimate format of piano and vocals. The duo can be expanded to larger formats & music genres.
The Moonlight Jazz Duet provided the atmosphere for my proposal to my fiancé. They were easy to coordinate with, worked with me to choose the right songs and queue them so we could make the moment perfect. I'm so appreciative of their time and effort. We'll never forget our moment.
Moonlight Jazz Duo was absolutely the best duo I could have asked for our wedding ceremony last year. Right from the start, they were great with communicating and working with my family and me to accommodate us with whatever we needed.
On the day of, they were amazing -- sounded great, brought wonderful energy, and kept my friends and me very emotional throughout the whole ceremony. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch duo for wedding ceremonies.
This band was HOT and truly authentic! They arranged a special latin band for our event: Every single musician was so talented covering multiple parts and making this Quartet sound like a Full Orchestra! Our celebration was a latin party full of dancers and the song selection was amazing, keeping everyone dancing the whole time. Also, incredibly nice and responsible people, easy to work with. Definitely the Highlight of the Night!
Hi, Baden and Arta, we wanted to thank you so very much for playing and singing so amazingly at our Christmas House Concert. Every house concert we have organized has always been successful, but yours was not only successful but also truly something special. The energy in the room completely changed when you started to play. It was way beyond our expectations, it was very magical, the music and your level of connection with the audience (our friends) were very soulful and engaging. We especially loved your original music. Keep it up! We hope to have you back again for some other gatherings. We highly recommend this duo!!! Happy New Year. Lucy and Adam
I saw Arta’s and Baden’s performance at the Brave Sound Production a while ago. Let me know – IT JUST BLEW MY MIND AWAY. This young generation of musicians has something good going on musically. After the BSP performance, I reached out to them asking if they would be interested in playing a little concert for me and my wife’s 50-year anniversary. We were so happy to receive a positive response back because we truly love jazz music and enjoyed their performance. I asked if they could play some of our favorite jazz standards and they deliver that so wonderfully. Our guests are still raving about these two. It was one of the happiest days of our lives.
If you are a true jazz lover like us or just getting into it, I wholeheartedly recommend hiring this duo. Simply Marvelous!
When our photographer recommended Moonlight Jazz Duet to us and we saw them performing at The Jazz Gallery, we immediately knew they would be a great choice. However NOTHING could have prepared us for how good they really were. Music was hands down our biggest priority for our wedding ceremony and they did not disappoint. As our wedding was not a traditional one, we had a very specific song selection for the ceremony and everyone was very impressive to see how well this Duo covered and adapted every song we asked for! I can't even count how many of our guests asked for their contact info to hire them for their own weddings/events. RUN do not walk, to hire Moonlight Jazz Duet for your own wedding or event, you won't regret it!
