Muffy and her jazz band provided beautiful , soulful jazz for my bday event . Muffy and her band are beautifully dressed and their musical stylings are a cut above any other band in NYC . One of the best bands out there ! Do go ahead and book them for your next event , your event will be the talk of the town for ages to come !
Along with her beautiful voice sly humor and unique style Muffy brought 2 excellent muscians to complete her trio. The quitar player did a beautiful solo version of My Funny Valentine. There repertoire consisted of Jazz Standards and obscure gems. Whether playing to the audience or providing background diner music, the band did an excellent job.

Press:
"Jenny Lee Mitchell, (Muffy Styler) who’s also the clarinetist, and a seasoned professional clown...in-character throughout as a blonde gangster’s moll, scats Charlie Parker’s “Ornithology” as the instrumental break on “How High the Moon” (Morgan Lewis, Nancy Hamilton), and on clarinet, she often doubles guitar or keyboards on fast
bebop lines.....A rambunctious set unfolds in no particular order, and in the midst of the neo-vaudeville
kitsch you realize these people can really play." —— Penelope Thomas, Bistro Awards
"Smart and theatrically savvy" — Stephen Holden, NYTimes
Muffy Styler and Friends are self-sufficient when it comes to outdoor smaller functions and come equipped with battery-powered amps, mics and drums if requested.
For indoor performances with a full band (4 members or more), a full backline (PA, board, monitors, drums kit, and 2 amps: guitar and keys) is a preference but the minimum is a PA system with board.
Muffy and Friends can supply microphones and guitar amps and monitors if needed.
For duo performances, there are no technical requirements.
