Herculano Federici, has been involved with Afro-Brazilian Music, Dance and Capoeira, since he was 18 years old. In 1981 he moved to New York City, and has performed with many different artists.

*From 2006 to Current:
 Untouchable Events;Performed at Private Parties and Social Events.
 Teaching Artist in Residency at The Beacon University.
 Community Word Project Teaching Artist Training & Internship Program.
 Fort Greene Senior Citizens Council After School Music Program.
 Teaching Artist in Residency at The Brooklyn Children’s Museum.
 Performed at the Museum of Natural History with Kimati Dinizulu for
“The Annual Kwanza Celebration”.
 Recorded with Kimati Dinizulu at “AVATAR RECORDING STUDIOS”.
 Performed at the Westchester Arts Council Center in White Plains,NY.
 After School Program Rhythm and Percussion Residency:
- SCAN NY AT CES 58X (BRONX).
- TASC AT COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP CHARTER SCHOOL (BROOKLYN).
 Capoeira Performing Arts Center: Performed at Yale University, One World Arts and Culture Festival (Paramount Theater, Peekskill,NY) and The New Rochelle Library.
 Performed at Public Schools. Played for Dance Classes at Djoniba African Dance Studios and Alvin Ailley Dance Center.

*From 1994 to 2006:
 Abada Capoeira NY, Kimati Dinizulu and the Kotoko Society, Saravah Brazil Dance Company.
 Recorded with Steve Turre and Paul Simon.
 Performed at La Guardia Community College, Hunter College, Yale University and with Winton Marsalis at Lincoln Center and the Apollo Theater in Harlem.

*From 1981 to 1994:
Loremil Machado Afro Brazilian Dance Company; Empire Loisada Samba School; Ligia Barreto Dance Company; Jelon Vieira Dance Brazil; Brazilian Folies; Pe de Boi Band at Sounds of Brazil.
Traveled to Egypt, Israel, Austria and throughout the United States.

*From 1978 to 1981:
Studied Capoeira, Afro Brazilian Percussion, Folcloric Music and Dance, classical guitar, the Banjo and the Berimbau. Traveled and recorded with Marcos Sabino Band in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
