My name is Nicole Johnson and I am an Indie singer. I enjoy playing many different styles of music, giving them a bit of a twist. I started singing my sophomore year in High School when I joined choir. There, I discovered the power of individuality, and how not sounding like everyone else could actually be an advantage for me. The first song I sang in front of a crowd was Skinny Love by Bon Iver. I was the closing act for a Talent Show, something to entertain the audience while the judges tallied their votes. The second song I sang in front of a crowd was the Friends Theme Song. Third was Royals by Lorde, and the fifth was No Diggity by Blackstreet. (Like I said, I explore a lot of genres.)
