Off The Beat is an internationally ranked modern rock and pop a Cappella group from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. We have performed in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella twice, starred in Season 2 of "Sing It On", and sang for Former Vice President Joe Biden. Off The Beat charges competitive pricing for our performances to ensure that the highest quality performance is provided to our clients.

Off The Beat performed at our mom’s 80th birthday and they were great! We chose the songs from their long roster and they did not disappoint. They were the hit of the party. Can’t wait to hire them again.

(1). Off the Beat shall arrive about thirty minutes before the starting time to set-up, ensure all equipment is functioning, and conduct sound check. Off the Beat shall perform music to suit the right mood of the even and in accordance to any specific requests. Off the Beat shall have a prepared collection of songs.
(2). Off the Beat shall coordinate with Client with regards to microphone, sound equipment, and any other potential setup assistants and/or sound engineers. Off the Beat shall ensure optimum sound blend and reproduction for the venue size and choreograph themselves accordingly.
(3). Upon request, Off the Beat will conduct an interactive workshop with however many participants desire to take part in the activity and will perform, teach, and conduct a song of their choosing with the audience.
(4). Exact performance details and any personalizations must be determined in writing prior to the arrival of Off the Beat at the performance venue.
Off The Beat’s style is the most unique in all of collegiate a cappella. Our sound is often characterized as high-octane and high-energy, leaving audiences with performances they will surely remember. Rooted in Rock music, the music we create together combines rhythmic and melodic phrases into a powerful and show stopping sound. Although we hail a Modern Rock title, our group performs music from all genres from Pop and R&B to Electro and Jazz.
We are extremely flexible. As an a cappella group, we can set up to perform in any location with whatever technical equipment is available.

Our set list changes every semester, but feel free to ask for our current one. We are comfortable performing songs from our setlists that fall within one academic year. Additionally, if there are any specific songs that you would like us to perform, we can perform those songs for an additional fee.
