I sing to tracks and have the ability to go from song to song seamlessly and even overlap for a dance montage. I act as your dj between songs while reading the room. My goal is to chat with people and do their favorites and get them dancing or singing along.
I sing all kinds of songs from Norah Jones to the Stones!
Allowing your guests of all ages, to eat, sway and then dance.
From my experience a little of each style works.
Current like Feel It Still, Uptown Funk and Havana
Country like Something To Talk About, Man, I Feel Like A Woman, and Pontoon
Classic Rock like Old Time Rock N Roll and Honkytonk Woman
Old School like Chain Of Fools, Fever and These Boots Are Made For Walkin

I customize each playlist to the needs of the event.
I have sung at restaurants in a background type of setting where people came up in shock when they knew it was live.
I have been the entertainment for opening and closing day for the Yacht club that will get people dancing on the dock or the boat i am singing from.
And I have entertained passer by's in outdoor and indoor arenas, where i specialized in singing songs they responded to and sung along with.
Therefore in my experience any private event with catering is in layers.
During the walking in, chatting and dinner section I usually have background music playing like Al Green, The Spinners, Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble type feel.
Then, I will move into singing songs like "Whatever Lola Wants", "Someone Like You", and "You're So Vain" to watch to see if any couples are dancing to the slow choices.
If it is moving into dancing I then take it up to "Dreams" and "These Boots Are Made For Walking" to move into a bit more faster feel.
While I sing I watch and listen to the reactions.
I then take a beat after 6 songs or 9 songs depending on the reception of the ones i am singing and play between music that is middle of the road and chat with anyone about what they want or like.
With an internet connection i can play anything i don't have and requests. With an idea of a style and artist i can usually satisfy whatever a guest wants vocally as well.
With the next set, the goal is to give couples a chance to dance to faster music. I like "Sway", "Moondance" and "I Love The Nightlife" and these songs seem to give good opportunities.
To see if other people are ready to dance I sing "Stuck In The Middle " and "Old Time Rock n Roll".
Once people are on the floor my aim is to keep them there. Moving into "Uptown Funk" and "Man I Feel Like A Woman" seems to hit all styles.
I reach back to disco with "Boogie Oogie" and "September" and throw in current fun along the way.
Then i break for "Electric Slide" and "Cupid Shuffle" and dance with the guests on the floor while chatting to make the next play list.
Knowing the time line and idea of flow allows me to have a separate Mic ready when it is needed.
I have been in all kinds of situations where flexibility on the fly is a requirement and I come highly recommended in all environments.
My song list is available on my website and divides all into eras.
My equipment takes up a small corner of a room and is a small side table with mixer and computer. I can stay in a small area or work moving further out and even into the audience if a cordless Mic is provided.
People seem to like the fact i have a full sound and perform with energy and fun in mind.
Thank you for stopping by! I am a local performer that performs with 3 bands.
I do my "One Woman Show" for private events and parties and have been getting gigs lately by recommendations unseen. I started doing this show in 2011.
Lately my "One Woman Show" is Dave and Chandra since we then don't have to take any breaks and people love it.
I can be impressive, quiet and subdued or get people dancing.
My One Woman Show covers all styles and leans toward giving your clientele some of their favorite songs and artists while they tap their foot, sway in the chair or dance on a dancefloor.
I have equipment I set up with speakers, stands, mixer and stand that holds my computer for the tracks and songs I play between.
My aim is to hit on a personal favorite at least once for whomever is listening.
I don't really like dead air and tend to always be singing or playing an in between song while chatting with someone for a request.
I am different from a typical singer with an instrument due to covering so many ideas and styles with passion and fun.
I have found an eclectic list of all era's and genres that i believe is mostly middle to up tempo that works with all ages.

My aim is to successfully customize the show as I go!
Seamlessly going from song to song.
My ultimate goal is to stay flexible, aware and fun while surpassing all expectations and being attentive to the overall level and vibe.
I have no specific requirements except an electrical outlet and area to stand and sit behind my table.
I make sure to be ready with current radio songs and have put together a list of dance songs from the 50s to today.
