We can provide popular Bluegrass, Americana and Country music. Our high quality PA can be provided with volume always appropriate for the setting. Straight acoustic (no PA) is also an option. Band instrumentation includes guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, and dobro but instrumentation can be customized. Music goes from high energy to slow ballads and we love to play indoors or outdoors.
Great group of musicians and easy to work with.
I highly recommend them!
Response from Keith Murdock and Orchard Creek:
Thank you Tom!
We had a wonderful time. Hope we can do it again!
Keith
Orchard Creek performed at our “New Beginnings” celebration of being in our new house after losing everything in the Marshal Fire. Our outdoor event was washed out by a torrential downpour. Orchard Creek offered to play acoustically in our garage, which they did. All our guests commented on how great a band they were!
Response from Keith Murdock and Orchard Creek:
Thanks Rob! We had a wonderful time. Thank you for the professional tent set up that saved us and the food was wonderful! We’d play for you anytime.
Communicative, helpful, caring, and personalized.

Keith and company have a “Colorado Sound” where various musical influences blend. And we love traditional bluegrass and country - our hero's are many: Bill Monroe, Stanley Brothers, Flatt and Scruggs, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Hank Williams, and many more.
I think you could describe our stage personality as comfortable and personable. We aren’t into any political platforms or rants, just good solid bluegrass plus some original tunes that are heart-felt and relatable.
Keith plays Bluegrass, Americana, and Country on guitar and Dobro. He sings lead and backup. Keith plays with first class musicians that have played with him for years. He’s been in many rock and country bands and holds an MS in Music from CU Denver. He worked at the CMA office in Nashville in the 80’s and also for Barry Fey’s concert company in Denver around that time. He was in bands that opened for some big name acts at the Rainbow Music Hall in Denver e.g. The Ramones, Talking Heads, Huey Lewis, and The Romantics. He was also a member of the bluegrass band: Steel Pennies.
We can play acoustically, or with our PA or yours. We have from two to six members, several of us singers. We have vocal and instrument mic's, DI's, and remote mixing capability.
Here are a few from a recent gig. We know numerous others and can learn special songs too.
