Orchard Creek has a “Colorado Sound” where various musical influences blend. And we love traditional bluegrass - our hero's being Bill Monroe, Stanley Brothers, Flatt and Scruggs and others from the same period plus those who have come later and honor the tradition.
Greg Blake: "...original songs are well done with tasteful playing and good singing".
Pete Wernick: "Orchard Creek applies their formidable array of talents to a wide stylistic range of bluegrass..."
Neil Smart: "Orchard Creek shows a great respect for tradition, but have a foot planted firmly in the present with an eye towards the future. All are solid musicians but the group’s harmony singing is where they shine..."
Great group of musicians and easy to work with.
I highly recommend them!
Response from Orchard Creek:
Thank you Tom!
We had a wonderful time. Hope we can do it again!

Orchard Creek performed at our “New Beginnings” celebration of being in our new house after losing everything in the Marshal Fire. Our outdoor event was washed out by a torrential downpour. Orchard Creek offered to play acoustically in our garage, which they did. All our guests commented on how great a band they were!
Response from Orchard Creek:
Thanks Rob! We had a wonderful time. Thank you for the professional tent set up that saved us and the food was wonderful! We’d play for you anytime.
Communicative, helpful, caring, and personalized.

I think you could describe our stage personality as comfortable and personable. We aren’t into any political platforms or rants, just good solid bluegrass plus some original tunes that are heart-felt and relatable.
Orchard Creek started out over 6 years ago. We work as a five piece with guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, and Dobro with two lady singers and two men singers. We can provide our own PA and lights.

We have three CD's out. In 2021 we made DJ Matt Malick’s KGNU Top Ten Album Plays, and our festival seasons have included High Mountain Hay Fever (HMHF) in Westcliffe, CO 3 times and the Mid-Winter Bluegrass Festival twice. Other numerous shows have included festivals, town concert series, senior events, local pubs, and coffee houses.
Thank you for your consideration and interest in bluegrass music!
