Pat Herlehy was born and raised in Chicago at a time that the local clubs heralded the likes of Muddy waters, Howlin Wolf and Eddie Clearwater sitting in regularly at the Buddy Guy's Checkerboard Lounge. He was able to absorb the blues and actually played with Muddy. In the early 80's Pat moved to NYC and became a session musician playing on a myriad of tracks including movie sound tracks and jingles. In the late 80's Pat moved to NH and became Mighty Sam McClains band leader touring the world for 15 years. Pat co-produced and co-wrote Sam's last 5 CD projects garnering several nominations from the Memphis based Blues Foundation. Today Pat continues to write and record local artists at his Jamaman Studios in Manchester NH and recently mixed and mastered Grammy winner Luther Gt Jr Johnson's lastest CD as well as touring with him as his saxophonist.
