Professional Piper - Sean Buchta

Made a last minute search when I found out my uncle's request for bagpipes to be played when he died. Well not when he died but when we all dropped bits and pieces of him here and there (cremated I promise), anyways I found out late Saturday and within minutes Sean reached out. Shared what little details I knew for the celebration and ashes spreading the next day and he said no problem. Apparently my request for hallelujah Is not a common bagpipe solo. I said no problem then another classic (already planned on amazing grace) would do. Well Sean showed up ready to go and said he was able to work out a version of hallelujah on the pipes the night before. Blew amazing grace out of the water of course and hallelujah was surprising as well. My whole family was in tears and so happy to be able to give my uncle what he wanted but the fact Sean was so professional and courtious and played amazingly really made it work out well. While I'm not sure what the going rate for a musician on short notice and not playing more than a couple songs back to back should be, he absolutely earned the fee and then some.

Sean is an excellent bagpiper. Easy to work with, showed up early and stayed late. Great communication with him. Would hire again, can not say enough about how enjoyable the event went in our over 55 community. A good Scottish lad.

We hired Sean to add fanfare and Scottish fun to our outdoor wedding in downtown Tampa. He was so professional in all of his communications, provided all the help we needed when it came to tailoring his performance to what would work well for our event, and was great at rolling with all the unexpected curveball that inevitably pop up. Our guests were raving about him, and we couldn't be happier. All throughout our planning he was so fast to reply to every question and communication, and on the day of he was wonderfully personable and a highly valued component of our wedding. Such a great decision to hire him!

We hired Sean to play for my father's celebration of life this past Sunday. He was professional, self directed, and his playing really touched our hearts. My father was a police officer and a veteran and would've absolutely loved it. Thank you Sean for making his day so special!

I could not have made a better choice for mother's memorial service. Sean was professional, had great communication skills arrived early to the event. He took the time to learn a new piece of music for the service and played it beautifully.

I had Sean play outside for a 75th birthday celebration. It was perfect during this time of needing to be socially distant. This brought tears to many of the people watching in person, and even to a lot of people watching virtually on a zoom call. Sean was very easy to communicate with, he showed up early and started playing right on time as planned. I highly recommend him.

Sean is a stand up gentleman, professional, and very talented piper. I cannot say enough about his personal attention to detail and clear communication in making me feel comfortable with arrangements for our event. Sean is very thoughtful. I highly recommend him.
