Hello and welcome to the world of my soulful melodies and electrifying performances!
My name is Randy Ruffin, I am an entertainer and recording artist. In my performances, I cover iconic songs of groups and artists such as The Temptations, The Spinners, The Four Tops, The O'Jays, Tavares, Marvin Gaye, Lou Rawls, Kool and the Gang, Sam Cook, Bill Whithers, Louis Armstrong, Donnie Hathaway, Nat King Cole, To Chris Stapleton, and Neil Diamond to name a few. I also include many more popular artists as, well as some original songs I've recorded, and cover songs of major recording artists. I have a soft spot in my heart for entertaining at fundraisers, and veteran org. , and senior facilities
It couldn't have gone better. It exceeded all expectations. It was simply beautiful. My wife would have appreciated it. Thanks Randy.
Mr. Ruffin provided an evening of great music. Many of our guests commented on the fun entertainment.
There aren't enough stars or words to describe Randy and my experience with him. I felt like we were old friends from the minute he contacted me to play at my husband's 60th Surprise Party. He was kind & caring about every detail & conscious of exactly what I wanted. He contacted me several times before so he knew about the venue & asked for a picture of where he would be setting up before he arrived. A true professional & a even more true gentleman. He arrived an hour before his time to set up & take care of every detail. The minute we arrived Randy had the party started & set the tone for a fun night!! We danced all night long & sang along with him which wasn't great but Randy didnt seem to mind at all. His voice and all around vibe is amazing but his personality is what gets you. A true kind sweet genuine person who everyone fell in love with!! My guests all loved him, my husband had the night of his life which he said he will never forget & I gained a friend!! Thank you Randy my new friend & I mean that Sincerely from the bottom of my heart!
Randy is a total professional in every aspect. Although it was my first experience with Randy it was like we were old friends that hadn’t seen each other for sometime. Randy’s talent was obvious from his first song however to connect with the audience the way he did only exemplified his professionalism and personality. A total pleasure, s total talent, s total gentlemen and all that were present for this experience were totally happy and awed.
Thanks Randy from the IHOC family.
Response from Randy Ruffin - Tribute To The Legends:
To, say that I had a great time entertaining this group would be an understatement. To support this fundraiser and the great work this IHOC organization is doing with its supportive housing program for the homeless, was an absolute pleasure! I felt right at home with everyone in the room as they showed great appreciation for the music selection and we had a great time singing and dancing together! I would do it every year if they asked me to! Big shout out and thank you to Chas Van Horn and Ruth Morganroth for having me participate in their fundraiser!
Mr. Randy is super professional and talented. He made each guest feel special and his vocals are spot on for the soul classics he sings!! I would love to hire him again for other gigs in the future.
Response from Randy Ruffin - Tribute To The Legends:

Response from Randy Ruffin - Tribute To The Legends:
What a great way to celebrate the holiday. I had a lot of options for the 4th of July celebration but I felt so compelled by the request for entertainment at the Phoenix Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn New York and the opportunity to bring joy to the residence there that I decided to spend my day with them. I want to thank the staff and the residents for inviting me into their home. We had such a wonderful time there were tears of memories sounds and applauds of joy and satisfaction singing and dancing together. I'm so happy to have been chosen for this occasion and look forward to any opportunity to do it again for them. My best regards to the staff and all the residents that attended the 4th of July celebration. Yours truly Mr Randy Ruffin

There is a clear distinction between a Randy Ruffin show and my performance that differentiates me from all other performers. I am up close and personal with audiences as I perform I always bring them into the experience. I shake hands, kneel, and sing to audience members.
I often dance with a few people in attendance.
I smile and touch people throughout my performance. I talk and engage with my audiences about the days of old and the memories that come with the music selection I sing.
I listen to the memories of people with the songs they find dear to them, like where they were when a particular song came out, who they were in love with, or that this song is connected to their first date, high school graduation, or wedding song.
Randy Ruffin was born and raised in the vibrant music scenes of West Philadelphia and was captivated by the power of music at the age of 11.
He was 16 years of age when he discovered his passion for singing at high school talent shows and it was not long after that, Randy says that he learned that when it's something he loves he takes to it like a sponge, that's when he to sing along with the great artists he idolized like David Ruffin of the Temptations.
Along with David Ruffin, Randy was influenced and became a student of other notable artists, i.e., The Delfonics, Major Harris, Blue Magic, Billy Paul, The O'Jays, and The Stylistics which were local groups out of Philadelphia, PA. and "Philadelphia International Records" which he had the pleasure of being closely associated with and or around by way of six degrees of separation.
Other influences in his life were The Dramatics, The Spinners, The Four Tops, Tavares, Marvin Gaye, Lou Rawls, Sam Cook, Bill Withers, Louis Armstrong, Donnie Hathaway, Nat King Cole, Jazz, and Gospel artists to name a few who had a similar vocal range that Randy was gifted with but had to master along his journey.
He recognized that from this gift his destiny could lay on the stage, entertaining audiences with his soulful voice. So, Randy set out to meticulously hone his vocal craft into a marketable product. Randy has had a successful career for over 10 years paying homage to the iconic MOTOWN's "David Ruffin" of "The Temptations”.
Today, Randy Ruffin is on a singular mission. He has often said, "I love songs with old-school flavor, I love the chords, the melodies, and the lyrics It's all a winner for me".
Randy's journey as an artist began as a way to pay tribute to the true legends of the industry yet unbeknown to him while out doing a show one evening that he would be approached by one of the area's biggest producers, Butch Ingram who happened to be in the audience watching and listening to Randy's performance. Randy Ruffin was presented with an offer that night to record with Butch Ingram's (SOCIETY HILL RECORDS) and as they say, the rest is history!
