We had Rich play for 4 hours at our 50 year high school reunion. He added a touch of class to our evening. Nice background music during dinner and after while visiting with classmates. Highly recommend Rich!
Response from Rich Rollo Saxophone:
Jim, thank you so much for the recommendation! It was a pleasure to play for your event. What a class of people that still can get together!
Rich played cocktail hour at a wedding reception we had this past weekend in our facility. He did a wonderful job, he was very professional, had great sound, high quality recorded tracks to accompany him as he played his saxophone and had a variety of music. His levels for the space he was performing in were perfect, the guests didn't feel as they needed to shout over his playing, he just added to the ambiance of the event!
Response from Rich Rollo Saxophone:

You can expect me to be about 1-1 1/2 hours early to set up my equipment, dressed professionally according to the event, learn a few requests told in advance of at least a week, solo saxophone with backing tracks presentation stationary, not taking too much room and always trying to accommodate the client and crowd know what to play when.
A seasoned professional who has performed all over Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania since 1978, playing with many local musicians and even backing up national acts. Attained a masters degree in music education with 30 years of teaching experience as band director at Warren Harding high school in Warren, Ohio. Retired in 2012. Presently, along with his solo saxophone act, he is also a member of the WD Packard Band in Warren. the Scatch Andersson Orchestra in Cleveland, John Reese's Backbeat, Ron Eischelstein trio in addition to on call projects in recording and various shows.
I will need one electrical outlet to plug into. I do not take up much space. An entrance to the venue is needed that I can rollin my equipment on a dolly. If the even is outside, I must have a shaded area to prevent my amplifier from overheating and be able to view my iPad screen. If no shaded area is available, you will have to pride a shade tent of 10'X10' minimum. The stage area should have enough lighting for me to see when I set up and tear down.
My book has over 225 tunes in it presently and I am constantly adding tunes each week as I get requests from previous engagements or by future clients, or tunes I think people would like. My repertoire also includes about 3 hours of Christmas holiday music for those occasions. I can play just about anything as long as I'm able to create or find a proper backing track to go along with it. Too many tunes to list here. Ask if you need to see the list and I will forward it to you.
I have been influenced from the greats in jazz such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis. John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Michael Brecker, David Sanborn, Tom Scott, and anyone else I can listen to in all genres of playing.
1 electrical outlet, hard flat surface, shaded if outside
