In addition to dance performances, we are also available to hostess events and pose for photos in costume with guests.
Halie and and Carine were amazing! Our guest absolutely loved the performance and it made our event so memorable! Samba Fusion was an excellent addition to my grandmother's 80th birthday party!
They put on an excellent performance, and even got some of the guests up dancing! My grandma could not have been more excited to see the beautiful samba dancers. Their costumes are also out of this world! I would recommend Samba Fusion to anyone looking for entertainment for any occasion!

Samba Fusion is a Vancouver-based Dance Group whose roots are based in Carnaval-style Brazilian Samba (Samba no Pé). Under the creative direction of Co-founder Carine Caroll, Samba Fusion has been a fixture in Vancouver for over 10 years. The oldest and largest Samba-focused group in Vancouver today, their offerings include professional appearances, live percussionists and samba dance shows, samba classes and workshops taught by choreographer Halie Scaletta, and more. They have been invited to perform at festivals, corporate events, and celebrations across North America as far North as Iqaluit, and as far South as Las Vegas. Samba Fusion's mission is to share their passion for Samba to the world through their connection to Brazilian culture and their love of its many forms.
Due to our elaborate costumes we need to get ready on site so we require
1) A Changeroom with mirror
2) A ceiling at least 8 feet to accommodate our headpieces
3) A stage area large enough for the required number of dancers
Once shows are booked our stage manager will contact you and your DJ regarding music requirements - usually an iPod hookup or USB drive. Remember - the louder the music the better - your audience will appreciate the show much more if they can hear it well!
