Unique to the Virginia and Tri-State music scene, Shashana & Rolando provide a special musical experience for any event or entertainment venue. Shashana plays keyboard and Rolando, who is also a vocalist, plays electric and classical guitar.
They specialize in Grand Openings, Model Home Openings,
Wine Tasting and Meet and Greet Socials, Home Concerts, Weddings, Anniversaries, Engagement Parties, and Corporate Celebrations.

They have been performing together for over fifteen years with a musical repertoire consisting of originals, jazz, pop, classical, folk, rock, new age, and traditional standards.
They can also incorporate the sound of additional musical instruments by utilizing the amazing capabilities of a keyboard or guitar synthesizer. With the synthesizer, they can add the sounds of violins, cellos, flutes, harp, brass, woodwinds, bass, and percussion. In effect, the audience hears the musical instrumentation of four or more musicians being performed by just a duo.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC?
Our original music follows in the tradition of Guitarist Pat Metheny, Cellist Yo Yo Ma, and the duo Secret Garden, encrusted in a canopy of World Beat and the contemporary Smooth Jazz ambience of Acoustic Alchemy, with the classical compositional influences of Ravel and other early French Impressionist composers like Satie and Faure. This amalgam then spins and weaves a magical spell around the heart and soul of the listener.
We also perform traditional standards from the Great American Songbook as well as jazz standards associated with the great jazz composers. Our goal is to provide the listener with the best, professional, and educated music as possible. Our love of music is mirrored in the same love we have for the listener. It's a shared experience to be enjoyed by all.
