Song and Sweet arrives with lyric sheets for all and leads your group in joyous song as the celebrant gets to hear a song written just for them sung by the people they love!
But that's not all, the honoree also receives a framed copy of the song, a tribute book of all responses from family and friends that were used to create the song, and a SWEET made just to order by Chef Doug Williams! Upon request, Chef Doug can also provide desserts for all. Song and Sweet is perfect for all ages, and for all occasions such as birthdays, graduations, retirements, memorials, bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings(yes, the song can be about two people!), anniversaries, and any event in which someone is being honored! Alex has loved performing, writing, and singing since a very young age. A graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy he has performed through out the tri-state area in both musicals, comedies, and dramas. He is the script writer and song writer of many successful educational musicals such as Helping Drew produced by Up in Arms a national touring puppet production company. Alex loves the privilege of creating songs that celebrate people's lives which is why, he along with his partner Doug, have created Song and Sweet
Doug has been a successful chef for over 25 years. A graduate of New York Restaurant School, he soon found himself working in upscale restaurants in both New York City and Litchfield County, Connecticut. In the early 90's, he operated a small catering service, Dinner Parties at their Best, for clients in Connecticut. He has also worked for Cassandra Purdy, a respected and very well known chef. Besides lending his expert baking skills to Song and Sweet, Doug also operates a thriving gardening business. His creative touch in the garden or behind the stove for Song and Sweet, is always evident!
