The Sound Effect band has been working in the music industry since 1978, providing entertainment for private engagements, clubs, fairs, and fund-raisers. The band plays a variety of cover songs including Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Pop, Funk, Rock and Jazz.
The Sound Effect band prides themselves in their trueness to live music. All instruments are played live and never pre-recorded at any live performances. Sound Effect is here to create the perfect ambience that you envision for your event. Do you need a jazzy acoustic band for happy hour and then a full party band for the reception? No problem. Sound Effect has a few different iterations that can be tailored to your needs. From an acoustic duo/trio to a full multi piece band with live brass, percussion, drums, vocals, bass, guitar and keys to rock your world! Having been in the industry for so many years, you can expect a level of professionalism beyond your expectations, while still experiencing a creative and personalized experience that your guests will never forget.
Sound Effect comes with their own quality sound system (unless otherwise requested) and break music will be played via playlists that can be customized as well so that you have the proper ambience throughout the whole event. Have us send you our set list so that we can even customize the sets if you would like. You will have access to a Microphone and sound system for announcements, etc.

This gives them the ability to change the feel of songs as they feel the need to which in turn keeps them fresh and energetic on stage. The fact that the core 3 members of the group have been together for over 23 years makes this possible. Having performed together for so many years also gives them the tightness that distinguishes them from any other group. Besides their unmistakeable talent, they enjoy themselves on stage so much that the feeling is contagious. Their fans become more like family and the vibe they give off becomes their own.

The three veteran Sound Effect members are: Jess Castro on lead/rhythm guitar and vocals, Lisa Sadowski on lead vocals and keys, and JC on drums and lead vocals.
If Sound Effect provides the sound system:
2 separate power circuits required (20 amps each minimum)
If sound is provided by third party these are the minimum requirements:
16 channel mixing board with reverb and separate monitor mixes
If mixing board is not easily accessible to band while performing, full time sound technician is required during performance times
5 vocal microphones (may need more if brass section is requested)
5 monitors
5 D.I. boxes for 2 guitar amps and 3 keyboards (if 1/4 inch inputs are not provided)
