Steven’s performance at our mother’s 70th birthday celebration was nothing short of extraordinary. What truly sets Steven apart is the diversity of his repertoire, seamlessly transitioning between classic rock, modern pop, and even Cumbia (we requested), captivating everyone in attendance. One of the standout aspects of Steven’s performance was his use of looping technology. He skillfully layered different instrument sounds and vocal harmonies. It was as if a full band was playing right in our backyard, making the celebration feel even more special. In addition to his musical talent, Steven’s professionalism shone through. He arrived on time, set up his equipment efficiently, and engaged the audience from the very beginning. Steven Gonzalo Bejarano, a musician from El Monte, California has a passionate love for music that cannot be described through words, and thus, his music is born. Steven has played in numerous bands ranging from 80’s to Cumbia’s, Classic rock to rock en español. A one man band multi- instrumentalist, Steven writes, produces, and has released original music under his own name and in multiple bands throughout the years.
Steven felt the power of music at the age of eleven, when his elementary school introduced him to a music program leading him to play Tuba. Another life changing event occurred when Steven received a electric bass for his fifteenth birthday. In 2011 while attending Musicians Institute Steve was offered the opportunity to live and work on Carnival Cruise ships as a singer/ guitar soloist. His career as a cruise ship musician came to an abrupt end in 2020 when he was trapped onboard the Carnival Imagination during the quarantine lock down. Now back home, Steve has been writing and recording and performing all over Southern California with his unique blend of Rock, Pop, Latin, & Reggae.
A designated place to perform & a power outlet. Ive played everywhere from big stages to street corners! I even have the capability to play without power (generator/rechargable amps). I also have connections to staging and lighting, so ifyour interested in something grand like that, let me know, I can help with all that. But, that can get expensive.
