Sumaya Belly Dance

Sumaya will arrive at your event location with time to prepare for her performance (20-30 minutes before 'show-time'). Typically, a place to change into her costume will be provided. If this is a surprise event, please provide a point person for Sumaya to contact on arrival so her entrance can be discreet.
Each show is catered to your audience, and all aspects are considered: from costuming, to music selection and overall length of the show.

Sumaya is a professional Egyptian style belly dancer in Pittsburgh, PA. She has been entertaining at Arabic and Indian themed weddings for over 10 years. Sumaya also performs for bridal showers, birthday parties, and girls nights out.

Why hire a belly dancer?
Belly dance is fun for all ages. Children love a real life Jasmine from Aladdin and the rest of the family will love snapping pictures of Grandpa dancing with the dancer.

She has performed in living rooms, ball rooms, beside pools, and in restaurants and night clubs. If you have a wedding, birthday party, bridal shower, or, if you just need some entertainment or a group lesson for your girl friends contact Sumaya.

Sumaya will need ample space to perform. If this is in a home, please clear a dance area (at least 10ft square) for her to dance in. Be mindful of low-hanging light fixtures and ceiling fans.
If your event is outdoors, please let Sumaya know so she can bring appropriate footwear (grass, gravel, cement, etc...)
